Today I purchased a Golf Kelowna Card at Kelowna Springs and played a round a golf. One of our foursome, was called into work at the last minute and was unable to play. After the round I checked my credit card purchases and found a $21.00 unauthorized charge from Kelowna Springs. I was never told of this charge while I was in the pro shop. After contacting Kelowna Springs later in the day, I was informed it was a charge for a non show. I was never informed of this fraudulent charge. The credit card company has been contacted and a fraud investigation has be started. Please be advise this practice of charging a credit card without authorization is fraud.
Beautiful course that was in incredible shape for this time of the year. Greens were fast, yet receptive. Course was well groomed and the staff was friendly. This is the type of course you'd want a membership at. It's a great layout that can challenge those trying to score low yet allow the average golfer to work on their game. Right amount of water & bunkers. The beautiful day definitely aided in my positive perception of this course. I will definitely be back Edit: I walked this course, and found it enjoyable.
Was told false information from the pro shop that we would be able to continue on the back nine, but then as we came through 9, we were not allowed to continue even though we had confirmed we could come in and pay the difference to continue… I understand we wouldn’t have been able to get in the full back nine, and that’s okay. We would have happily payed the difference to play just 3 or 4 holes. It was the way the worker handled it, was pretty disrespectful and our whole foursome was super upset and confused as to why we couldn’t pay to continue! Oh well… was a man in his mid 50s with glasses, very unprofessional.
Our group was not allowed the play to back nine with over 2 hours til sunset, after it was recommended to us that we pay for 9 holes and pay the rest at the turn. The older gentleman told us we would be able to play as many holes as possible before the sun set while checking in, however was disrespectful as we attempted to come in and pay for the back 9 telling us “we’re done for the day” and “maybe next time”
Nice friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful. Felt very welcome and at home. Nice golf course with challenging greens. Quite flat but nice course for me and the wife.
Decent place to golf, not too difficult, open fairways, nice greens. Good for relaxing enjoyable round of golf.
Really beautiful and well maintained course. Did the Back 9 w/breakfast and felt it was great value for money. Loved the experience!
The course itself was in good condition and fun to play…however; the employees in the rental shop were rude and unhelpful with the club rentals. The worst part of the experience was how rushed the starter and marshal made us feel at the tee box despite us being on time! They incessantly told us to start but there were groups in front of us so it made the start of our game stressful and enjoyable.
Best greens this season. Impressive. The City of Kelowna should have bought it a long time ago and turned it into a public course.
