Very nice place, service was not good. Started off the round with rude Marshalls. Was our first time here and we saw the workers drive on the green to the range. Our group followed and left our carts there as there were no signs telling us not to as we saw a path that led down there. Was also a very hot day hence we were just thinking of cutting the distance. Without letting us explain we were just yelled at by the employee to take our carts off, which we would’ve done anyway if they would ask nicely. Black mountain and Harvest had services which were above and beyond while Gallagher just gave us a sour taste. Little bit of empathy would go a long way, customer service was definitely lacking at this course.

Ruthanne was the venue coordinator for Gallagher’s Canyon where we had our May wedding. From the beginning Ruthanne was timely with her responses, so helpful, and professional! We had a few meetings with her prior to the wedding day to discuss details which was so helpful. She came the night before to help us with our rehearsal at the ceremony site as well, and on the day of helped make sure the ceremony ran smoothly and timely! Ruthanne made a huge difference with how smooth our day went! She was there from the beginning of the ceremony until we closed down our reception! The staff at Gallagher’s was so kind and attentive to us on the wedding day. All of our guests mentioned how amazing the food was and how nice the staff were! They had a large variety of options for food for the reception and we’re more than happy to accommodate any food preferences. The ceremony site overlooks the canyon and the reception room is full of natural light with massive windows that overlook the golf course. We are so happy with our decision to have our wedding at Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Club!

We got married the first weekend of July 2022.  We were extremely happy with everything Gallagher’s had done for us.  Ruthanne was amazing!!  She was there for us when ever we had questions or concerns.  She went over and above to make our special day go smoothly.  She even had a gourmet snack prepared for us last minute while taking pictures because we were starving.  She made us feel at ease the day of and we could not be more thankful.

Well only good thing about the course is it has some nice views. Saw the marshal come by 6 times on the front 9 and 2 times on the back to tell us to keep up to pace of play when were waiting. They packed the course so everyone was waiting with 9 minutes between but they also have people starting on the back 9. Staff was all over the course while you shoot and don't idle the equipment down.  Extremely disappointed especially for what you par . Not even close to being as good as black mountain, the rise or The ranch.

Was looking forward to our round at Gallaghers. Unfortunately it wasn’t worth the money. Our round started with us waiting for the group booked ahead of us to show up for their tee time. We were there available to tee off as the starters frantically tried to track down the party in the time slot before us. Needless to say our round started behind schedule. Once on the course, we were continually held up over the first 6 holes as they were playing from tee boxes that didn’t suit their skill level. On hole 7 the players assistant finally showed up. He told us that one of the people in that party was in fact an employee of the course but he did mention pace of play and it should improve. Things got a bit better for the next 3 holes and the round started moving as expected. Until, the bar cart showed up. We sat for no joke 11 minutes on a tee box as the group positioned themselves in striking distance from us while getting their drinks. Once they pulled away, the players assistant showed up again. However, not to talk to the player, but to sit and chat with the bar girl. Just another frustrating hold up to an already frustrating day. The part that made it the worst was on the 16th hole when we encountered the players assistant again. We mentioned that it was pretty ridiculous for a course of this calibre to have taken over five hours to play. His response was, “yeah there is two open holes in front of that group, I asked them to speed up but you’re almost done”. This lacklustre attempt at professional interaction was enough to prompt this review. Gallaghers is a nice course that plays as expected, the greens were great, bunkers soft and fairways lush, their attention to the player experience however, needs more care and attention. Honestly, I don’t know if I would return to spend the money on a round here. Other courses in the area of this calibre just do it better for the price.

In town on vacation and the first time playing this course last Thursday. All I can say is what a treat! The course was in amazing condition and the staff was incredibly friendly. A specific shout out is well deserved for the Marshall and the beverage cart girl as I’m not sure I’ve ever experience such friendliness from those two departments on any golf course. Keep up the good work!

Absolute top to bottom course service and facilities, they hosted my group of 36 and start to finish my original email to the end of our day was spot on on every way. Big thanks to Ruthanne and her team for making me look good to my customers

Was having a great experience at the course until the marshall was extremely rude to our foursome on hole 17. First off it was their own members holding the course up, secondly it’s hole 17 and doesn’t matter, third of all we just paid 5k dollars between the 16 of us. They won’t be getting a red cent from any of us again.

just love the course - the fairway is so well maintained and silk feeling, too many surprise with black Tee, one must putter 3 hole birdie, 8 pars, and 4 double bogeys.

Standard food here. Nice view on the patio and close to Myra canyon!  Fish and chips halibut very average.  Burger - very average
