My car was involved in an accident and not fixed properly. I have gone to Joe at Sunnyside for several years and am very disappointed at what happened and his lack of response. The front grill on my Honda was damaged and needed replacement along with the bumper. Both my husband and I stressed to him several times that the front grill must be chrome, as this was an upgrade we paid for when we originally bought the car. He assured us the right part in chrome colour was ordered. Friday the car is to be ready for pick up and the day our car rental is due for return. He let my husband know just before picking up the car that the chrome grill is discontinued from Honda so they installed the black one. This left my husband no choice but to pick up the car as the rental was expiring that day. I called Sisley Honda today and they 100% guarantee me the part in chrome is not discontinued, it can be ordered, quoted a price, and can arrive in a day. I called Joe, he picked up, but as today is not a work day for them all he had to say was "call back Monday." He has put us in an inconvenient possition where we now have to take extra time off our work to get this rectified. Plus, our headlight wasn't fixed at time of pick up either. I am fine with Sunnyside taking more time to fix the car, but he should've provided a more accurate estimation of days needed for rental car that the other party involved in the accident would have incurred instead of inconveniencing us. They also need more due diligence in ordering the correct parts and improve their attitude when a customer has a valid complaint. I am also questioning the honesty around if he really was informed the part is discontinued. I am eager to see how Sunnyside choses to respond and will update my review accordingly.
