Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest

What a lovely place for a family hike! Absolutely serene trail and yet inside the city. My 2 year old had a great time exploring the trails, trees, bugs, birds and a small stream. There are multiple trails inside the park to choose from. The trails are mostly under tree shades and hence ideal for summer hikes. There is parking available at the entrance. We spent a good 3 hours today.

Very pretty park with variety of trails depending on levels. You can find the map by parking lot and hand guides pamphlets. There is no washroom that’s a downside but overall I loved my walk n the beauty of nature in this park

Large forest with many trails that have signs. Parking in several places. Good for dog walking, running or strolling. Restrooms: No restrooms. No playground or picnic area.

Beautiful forest! Very well-maintained and within walking distance of White Rock! Also trails lead you almost all the way to downtown south surrey which can make for a great walk or bike ride! The southern section could possible use a few more park benches, however, it appears to be that it is more geared towards downhill/offroad biking. Dog-friendliness: good spot to walk your dog, with typically wide enough trails.

Love this trail! It's a family friendly and stroller friendly trail. We love going here with our kids and have lots of fun. There are no washrooms here that's the only drawback. It's a nice foresty trail.

Always a great walk, if you go in the evening keep your eyes peeled for owls!

Absolutely beautiful spot! Didn't even know it was there but so glad I found it. Super shaded so perfect on a hot day. You can do a big loop or little. Trails decent width for passing. Sometimes off leash dogs though Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome ON LEASH

Honestly, I enjoyed my walk here. Very peaceful & quiet. There are benches around the forest so you could sit and take a break if you wanted too. Also a dog- and bike-friendly place.

Beautiful park to walk through. Has main paths and interconnecting ones. Main path around is labeled with numbers 1-13 I think so you know where you are in the loop. The main loop called chickadee loop is labeled as well at intersections. The loop maybe takes 20-30 minutes for an average walker, not sure, my dog walks so slow so I'm lucky if I make it home by dinner. Really cute in the fall with all the maple trees that shed their leaves over the pathways. Dog friendly. Often people have their dogs off leash, though it's not an off leash park.
