Very Beautiful walk in the park. Lots of parking! Very BIG park. Good park for bird watching. Nicely paved path to walk along on the East side of the park. Good park to bring both your Dogs & Kids! Enjoyed a nice walk with my wife & 5 mo th old. Will be back again!
Good place to soak in some sunlight, bring an environment/nature safe BBQ for a tail BBQ behind your pickup truck like I did while letting the kids run around and the dog play. Also it's basically all just locals at this park like it's not the absolute most discrete like it's no secret but its not as busy such as a place like bear creek park.
What a gem of a park in the middle of the city! Lived in the area most of my life and only discovered this recently There is a nice, wide paved route the goes the perimeter of Serpentine Hills which is good for anyone on wheels. There are cute poems scattered about the trail to read and learn more about the area as well as remnants of old buildings that were built there back when the property was a farm. So nice to have this piece of land to preserve for the history of it all. There's some fun tree to climb along the route here and there as well. They also do a good job of describing the natural features around this area as well.
Easy access off exit 50 on Hwy 1 if you come from the city. The trails are wide, flat and neat along with blackberry bushes, beautiful trees and creeks. Birds and squirrels were spotted. The wild blackberries and plums picked off the vines were especially fresh and delicious. There are very nice loops and paths for hiking, an off-leash dog park, a picnic/bbq area and a RV camp site. Nice dogs and hikers passed by, some even wearing masks for covid… Overall a great park to visit.
Well kept trails. Dog friendly! Great for bird watching. Nice creeks. Good vibes:
Full of nature trails and wildlife - Raven's nest area and salmon habitat inside. Most of the trail don't allow bikes so look for the signs. Serpentine river stream flows through the park. Though shoes get dusty but nice place to visit.
Excellent place for some light hiking and/or running. Great place for a dog walk as well. The trails are clearly marked with ample room for everyone to enjoy their time here. Feels like being in a movie setting to be honest. Beautiful!
My partner and I enjoy coming here as the park has a nice series of loops with varying difficulty and length. It's been a great way for us to get outdoors. Parking can be a bit of a pain, especially in the usual hours when people want to go to the park, but if you go outside the late afternoon window, parking is ample. We typically vary the route we take on the paths, but spend about an hour or so when we do our walks. This is our go-to park in the area, especially in the summer when we want to go outdoors after work.
Beautiful place for bike ride as well as just a for a long jog/walk. There is lots of shade here to cool down during summer time. Also, a perfect hill climb for a beginner like myself.
We love this park. We went for a walk everyday at least once a day. My babies love to feed the fish and picnic there. What a nice relaxing park for our family
