Sundance Lodge of Montana

Let me start by saying I have looked up the lodge dozens of times over the years. I was very sad to hear that it burned down, I cried. My greatest childhood memories were there. Seeing horses up close for the first time, catching frogs, hours exploring the river and the wilderness around me with Chubby, Booger, and Sim, having picnics with my little sister in a boat on the pond. I had always planned to see it again. I'm now 32 years old, but when I was 12 my little sister and I had the pleasure of living there. My mom had taken a job as a housekeeper there. I took my children a few years ago to show them whatever was left. I tried to get a hold of your grandfather but I failed to do so. We ended up staying outside of the big gate. We're now back in Washington where we live but we'd love to go back and this time maybe see the property.

I was blessed as a child to have a grandfather with such a breath taking ranch/ outfitters lodge/hotel, for me to grow up on and most importantly having fun outside the house. My name is Michael and my grandfather is David E. Wendler owner of the Sundance Lodge. There are numerous attractions such as, fishing, hiking,beautiful natural lakes,waterfalls,wildlife, horse trails that go as far as the eye could see, ect. Unfortunately the main lodge had burnt down many years ago due to natural causes.
