Budget Inn Deer Lodge

First off I'll say that the gentleman who checked us in is why this review is 2 stars and not 1. He was polite, kind and helpful. I have no idea why this motel has a 2 star rating (and charges 2 star prices), it should be 1. We paid $74.90 for a room others on here say they paid $50. That would have been reasonable. We pulled in late and went right to bed. The room seemed clean. However, when we went to shower in the morning there were no towels or toiletries, not even hand soap at the sink. I went to the front desk to ask for these items but no one was there, which is fine, it was 7:30am. I called the posted phone number, however, and there was no answer. Again, for a cheaper fee this would have made sense, but not for what we paid. If you can get this place for $50 or under and just need a bed to sleep in, it's fine. Just make sure your room has towels and hand soap when you check in.

checked in then checked out ask for money back, these rooms are more like rent by the hour, filthy, no blankets just stained sheets and dirty bed spread, walls were dirty. the clerk had to wake the manager up at 3:00pm to give me back refund, he also smelled and was very rude. I don't want to even give them 1 star but to post my comment I have to

Very dated, poor sagging bed, and not even a spare roll of toilet paper! If I could give it a zero stars rating, I would.

Last time I stayed it was in shambles. This round I was amazed at the work that had been done. The staff is amazing room is clean smells good and it was in the perfect location. The new owner really cares about his property. Great turn around. .
