Sugar Fixé made our wedding cake and a full sweets table for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! Our guests were raving about how delicious everything was! The cake was absolutely beautiful, and Corrie was so wonderful to work with when we were figuring out what we needed and how much of everything we needed. She was super responsive and helpful! We're so thrilled we went to them for our dessert needs for our big day!
It’s so hard to find the right bakery and BINGO! My new fave. The cake decorator was the sweetest person and helped me pick the right fillings and choices. I specifically said I’m not a fan of fondant because I don’t like sweet cakes. Their buttercream is like silk. To die for. In addition people might not know but for their buttercream you need to let it thaw out before your event leave it out for 3-4 hours. So it’s not hard and it’s a delightful silky taste. The guests at the party were delighted and enjoyed every bite and went for seconds. Picture below I added the giraffe figures. They did the design and added the sun flower. Thank you Sugar Fixe. Outstanding!!!!
Sugar Fixe provided macarons, mini fruit tartlets, and mini cupcakes for my bridal shower a few weeks ago. Not only were they able to do this for me with only a couple week turnaround time, but they did a truly incredible job with everything! They were organized, communicative, and timely in delivering each item. Each baked good was delicious, but I think my favorites were the fruit tartlets! They were such a refreshing pop of color and flavor, and a unique addition to my dessert table. They were able to create a tower of macarons in pink ombre with gold splatter for me, which was just incredible! They had such great flavors too: vanilla, raspberry, and lychee rose. The mini cupcakes were red velvet and vanilla, and both were a total hit with my guests. In addition to everything tasting incredible, each staff member that I spoke to were so kind and treated me in such a special way. I cannot express how appreciated it was. I cannot wait to utilize Sugar Fixe again for gorgeous and delicious desserts for future events!
My cake design turned out great, but unfortunately it was the wrong color. I had asked for pink buttercream frosting, and they made it brown. I didn’t say anything because I needed that cake for a party, but I couldn’t imagine making that mistake for a more important event such as a wedding.
I am a teacher. One of my families has been treating me to little gift boxes of assorted pastries for special occasions, Parent/Teacher Conferences, -or just because. I have been so very touched by this thoughtful gesture that has made me feel appreciated and pampered! Everything I have sampled has been divinely delectable. I think the almond croissants are to die for. I just placed an order for sharing at Easter brunch! I am sure they will be a hit!
Sugar Fixé was who we chose for our wedding day in May of 2022. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and their cakes are absolutely out of this world! They were also incredible in accommodating us during the height of covid, as we were supposed to get married in 2020. We had to postpone for almost 2 years to have the wedding we truly wanted, and they were right there with us all the way through, navigating this new and unknown world with us flawlessly. Thank you, again, Sugar Fixé Pâtisserie!
My favorite cafe!!! First off, the coffee and the food,Oh my. It’s so delicious, their coffee is so creamy and silky smooth that I always get 2 cups. Lastly, the customer service is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Makes me feel so welcomed and it’s quickly become my go to coffee shop
We pass and stop by because we thought is French pastry... desserts look amazing... but they didn't allow us to use the restroom, at 3:50 pm just after purchasing coffe and dessert; they said they close in 5 minutes and that's way the restroom is close. HOPEFULLY THE REAL OWNER WILL READ THIS! So bad that the people working there doesn't really appreciate new customers.
If you want excellent pastry this is the place to go! Our local guides brought us here for pastry after leaving another business which also served pastry....they said this was definitely the place to come. There's limited seating inside as well as out. Good location within Oak Park.
My family got me a birthday cake from here, and it was the best cake I’ve ever had. Their buttercream frosting is amazing, and the cake wasn’t overly sweet. Just perfect. My new go to place for cake, thank you Sugar Fixe!
