Story

Our 2016 Christmas Party will be Saturday, December 3rd!

This year will feature Improv comedians from Slap Happy Improv Company, an awesome buffet dinner, and dance!

John is an amazing owner, parents and students love John and Mike. Both are very knowledgeable and versatile in skill sets offered to students. Life lessons are taught to all students, respect and honour. Gym is well equipped with the proper equipment, staff teachers are knowledgeable and good with students. Amazing atmosphere for both parents and students. Wide range of classes offered, from youth to older adults. Family orientated, classes can be a fun activity for families to engage and enjoy as a group. Great exercise and discipline for individuals to experience as well as dive into the world of martial arts.
Sudbury MMA is definitely hard for beginners, but doesn't discourage in the slightest. The trainers push you past your limits which in my opinion is what I'm truly there for and will always recommend to people wanting to push harder! If you want high intensity SMMA is definitely the place you want to be!!!!
I have trained at Sudbury MMA on multiple occasions while visiting Sudbury. John is an awesome BJJ instructor and his higher belt students are always willing to help you out. Overall, the club has developed a culture of mutual respect that encourages everyone to improve. I will certainly be training there again next time I'm in town!
The best way to sum up this mixed martial arts academy, is to first off say their teaching is world class and so are the people who train and work there. Absolutely amazing attitudes from everyone. They made me feel welcome and like I had been there for a long time. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and the conditioning and level of fitness you can achieve here is the best one Sudbury bar-non! Whether you want to compete or just get in shape and learn how to defend yourself, you should definitely choose to go here. It’s worth every penny and worth the experience. Can’t wait to come back north so I train with theses amazing people again! Thanks Sudbury MMA and keep up the fight!
Everyone has been super friendly and welcoming. I feel very happy to have joined the few short weeks I am here visiting from out of town. Great training and fantastic coaching! Thank you John and Mike!!
Sudbury MMA staff make everyone feel like family. Love their style of training and they're always helpful to make sure that you understand the technique Sudbury MMA is encouraging and motivating. Olivia and Alexis are super proud to be part of the organization.
This post/ review is long over due.... where to start, put simply awesome place to train.. Sudbury is not my home, nor have I lived there. Yet I felt at home with staff and other patrons of this establishment. Every one was super polite and there to help if I needed it. You could stop there but that's not the hole package. The place was clean, easy to find change rooms etc. Lots of room to move around and roll for BJJ. There was over 20 people most nights and it still felt like lots of room. The instructors where well knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I felt like some one..not just some one from out of town. In summary I loved my experience and would encourage any one to go. I for one will go back next time visiting the big city.. and I definently would be a full time member if I lived closer. Thanks Sudbury MMA, hope to see you guys again!!!
