Subway

Went to this location yesterday at around 9:40, about 20 minutes until close. The one kid working there told us when we got in that the debit machine was down and we needed to pay with cash. No worries, we head to the ATM and come back with cash. The kid's helping someone else, it's about 9:45 now. His transaction with them takes over 10 mins because he needed to calculate the total price by hand so we wait patiently, and after waiting he tells us that since the machine's down he's unable to serve us. By this point it was about 2 minutes until close. Firstly, if the machine was down and he was unable to serve us, why did he recommend us go to the ATM to get cash and then watch us stand there waiting for him only to tell us we can't be served? Secondly, we literally watched him serve the people in front of us no problem. Immediately after we left he locked the door behind us and pulled out his phone. Nice kid, great dude... Real impressed.

This is my most visited Subway location, and it seems to be one of the better ones. The staff are efficient, quick, and friendly. They use sufficient amounts of ingredients which is nice.

Great experience. The night shift kid behind the counter was hilarious and he put exactly what we asked for on our sandwiches. Could easily become a regular stop on the way home Sunday night.
