Best Subway location in town. Always clean and tidy, fridges stocked, and friendly staff. My personal favorite Subway, I'll go out of my way to come to this location if I've got a hankering for a sub. This locations been around since I was a kid and has some great wall decorations to look at, as well as a large seating area.
Subway is no longer offering lettuce on their sub? That's a shame, my price wasn't reduced and they didn't compensate with other veggies, I left with a thin sub. I'm not sure if this will be on going or temporary only.
I went there at 5:20 pm on January 7th, 2020. The sandwich artists working there do cont comply so standard of subway I.e hair net. The sandwich prepared was just a walk-around, no proper garnishing of vegetables. The lady who prepared my sandwich just threw the handful of olives on the centre of the sandwich. Additionally there were only 3 people ahead of me in the queue, still I got my sandwich prepared and billed at 5:48 pm, that’s 28 minutes just to wait in queue on your 30 mins supper break. The delay was just because of the frequency of online orders from SkipTheDishes. The lady kept on accepting all the orders straight away and would end up them in between of the queue. Even though there were only 4 of us Customers she prepared atleast 7 sandwiches by accepting the orders and ending up delaying us. When I asked her to accept the order but to increase the preparation time, she replied that the owner has strictly denied on that as he loses money. So what about the customers who spend their break time in the queue ?
I placed my order through uber eats many times I get a sad, pathetic sandwich that has more meat than veggies; I spoke to management they told me to add a comment to ask for more veggies, well the app doesn't have additional comments section on this specific store to accommodate my request, so I call the store, and instead of being accommodating I get the staff speaking a different language and I'm not supposed to be upset that this si is rude when dealing with customers. I asked for it to stop as I don't speak the language, and it's not helping the situation. Result in, no sandwich can be made with more veggies as Subway states this is the new protocol, and my order was cancelled.
Lunch can get very busy! Seems like Uber and all the other apps get priority over the actual customers standing in front of them!
Truly awful. I get 30 min lunch breaks at work, there was litteraly 1 customer in front of me, it took them over 15 minutes to tell me "one more minute I'll be right with you" which was an obvious lie as they had already started making more sandwiches for online orders. I had to leave shortly after since my break was coming to an end. No considerations at all for in store customers, this place is juste a sandwich factory for online orders. Dont waste your time going there in person I know I wont be returning.
They charge you for the paper bag you put the sub in
Do not waste your time at this location if you are in any type of hurry. They will blatantly prioritize "Skip the dishes" orders and make people in store wait 10 mins plus for this. Be advised; it will be faster for you to order skip. And they will treat you better than showing up at the store front. I've heard employees comment the ownership doesn't care about the customer. Wrote this while waiting in line on Skip orders.
Today, Thursday, March 21 2019 I had quite possibly the best experience I've ever had at any Subway. Surprisingly not because of anything special that happened, or anything else out of the ordinary. Today was a great experience because the lovely lady and gentleman behind the counter were just a treat to deal with. Polite, effective, and efficient. I watched my sub get assembled with actual care, the cold cut slices neatly folded and placed in an orderly fashion and just as quickly as someone half-assedly throwing them on, the cheese triangles laid in opposite directions so they cover the whole sandwich. Even the veggies were done perfectly, nice even spread and the right amount first time I didn't have to ask for more green olives at least once! Being so used to finding bored and miserable high schoolers earning minimum wage working these kinds of jobs, it's unreal how the perception of the experience can go from completely unremarkable to memorable enough to get someone writing a review about how great it was. I went in with overwhelming stress and anxiety, burnt out and just wanting a foot of food to bring home. I was most definitely not expecting the level of friendly and attentive service delivered, and within just a couple minutes I was going out the door with a genuine smile on my face. So thank you to both the lovely staff that were working this evening around 7:30PM, and also thank you to the management of that location for caring enough strive for a better level of customer experience. This is just one little review, but I believe it's important to do whatever we can to reward those who make the effort to do things better.
The franchise and general manager are super nice and were more then happy to help when there was a botch in my app order. Was hardly their fault since it was an app side problem but they accommodated me and made me feel like my order was important. Great service and as always great subs.
