Stratford General Hospital

I have never been in such a clean, well-organised hospital in my entire life. A 5 minute wait for triage, a 10 minute wait to get into an examination room...and not 1 but 2 doctors came to see my elderly father. Also 2 nurses, a crisis worker and within 4 1/2 hours, he was IN a hospital bed...and another healthcare worker was with us within 5 minutes of getting into this lovely room. This particular visit has me seriously considering moving to Stratford from Kitchener! What a stellar institution!

I had need of the emergency dept. Sunday March 1st. From the moment I arrived until I was discharged, the care and compassion of the staff was above and beyond! The admitting person and triage, nurses, X-ray technician, blood person….everyone!nDr. Paris was excellent too! He actually listened to my concerns.nWe are so lucky to have such a great hospital in our community.

I've had a couple of surgeries over the last couple of years and the people the and doctors are great BUT the nursing staff are stellar. They are kind, caring and attentive. Willing to have a laugh and give a gentle smile and warmth they likely aren't required to do. Today Carla prepped me for a fairly minor surgery but I knew from the get go to had professional looking after me and in recovery Connie was kind caring and helped me get up and made sure everything was ok and I was go to go.nThank you ladies you're among the best in the world

I've had to be hospitalized a few times here pregnancies, minor surgery etc. I will say the staff here go above and beyond to make sure you are well cared for. In all departments I've been in. From the doctors to the nurses to the techs and the people who make the hospital shine. Thanks for all your hard work and kindness.

I went to Stratford General Hospital, part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, and had a very positive experience. The hospital feels well-run and welcoming, with friendly staff who genuinely care about patients. The nurses were patient, compassionate, and clear in their communication, and the doctors took time to explain everything without rushing. The ER was busy but moved efficiently, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Parking is convenient and reasonably priced, and the location is easy to find. The hospital itself has a mix of modern and older sections, but everything is tidy and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a great example of a community hospital that delivers excellent, attentive care.
