Colossus Greek Taverna

Went on as a couple for wife’s birthday on Saturday evening. Reservations were a must as the place was FULL by 7pm.nVery good atmosphere there. Friendly and welcoming. Family vibes.nFood. We got grilled octopus and fried zucchini cakes to start. Both simply excellent. The octopus grillled perfect and very tasty. The cakes even though fried, were very light and not greasy at all. Excellent.nFor main we got Athena salad, very good but could be had without those thick fried chips. And second dish was the Greek paella. There was plenty of various seafood as well as other protein in the dish. Very good flavour BUT please don’t call this paella. This is nothing like a paella. Is a dish of rice and various seafood in a tomato sauce type.nAll portion very generous and we shared everything. Very good priced as well. Food was served quickly, tap water was poured, server very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Just be sure to make reservations for dinner service.

Delicious Greek Food !! If you have an appetite, I recommend the Stix Platter for Two! The Tzatziki is very creamy and thick. Everything on the platter was tasty and delicious. I recommend to reserve a table for this restaurant! I will definitely be back to try the other selections on the menu !!!

Colossus knows what they’re doing - the food was fresh, flavorful, and straight-up delicious. Felt like a little trip to Greece without leaving Oakville. The vibe was cozy, the service was on point, and every bite hit the spot. Definitely coming back for round two

Loved the menu, lots of traditional greek and mediterranean fusion dishes. Tried the chicken souvlaki bowl and the beef souvlaki dinner with a side of stuffed mushroom, all were delicious and portions are quite filling! Cozy place in downtown Oakville. The service was great and our waitress was super nice. Highly recommended.
