Overall, I found the stay to be pleasant. The beds were comfortable and everything seemed clean. There still a hint in the air that it was a smoking hotel back in the day, but not enough to bother me. Breakfast was good enough, lots of sweet things but they did have some sausage and boiled eggs which was good. Overall I think it’s a decent place in an area where there aren’t a lot of options. Only main downside is having to actually call someone up to the front desk every time with the doorbell.
We looked online and the rooms said $86/night. We checked in at 2am and they charged us $175+.nnNon-smoking and you were literally chewing the nicotine in the air. I am a mom, so it's just disgusting to bring your young children here to leave smelling like an ashtray. I'm also a sneaky smoker away from the kids and I still had a hard time not gagging on the smell. I also used to work in the hotel industry, it's apparent that they've spent money on decor instead of an ozone machine. However they probably can't smell it over the curry. You walk in and all you smell is curry. Then you enter any room and all you smell is an ashtray that's been permeating the room for God knows how long.nnThe rooms were not clean. Will post pictures. I picked out a wad of hair from the shower drain. Pee all over the toilet. Room was half vacuumed. Pretty sure our sheets were just pulled taut and remade.nnUpon speaking with the front desk when leaving, she was less than helpful. Didn't want to offer anything to fix the room rate. When she finally offered us $20 off I was so freaking irate that I needed to leave.nnThis location is just here to take advantage of patrons. I WOULD NOT EVER BRING MY FAMILY HERE. This is simply a construction zone hotel for the seasonal workers to rest in nnBreakfast was a nice touch, however they don't offer creamer of any sort for your coffee, only half and half. But if you have a sweet tooth, they offer a LARGE variety of hostess/little Debbie snacks ‍
It worked. It got the job done.nBut the room was tiny, the front desk was never staffed, and the hall carpets were dirty.nThe room appeared clean, but the lobby and halls were dirty… Overall, it appears in need of a refresh and clean up.nBreakfast selection was limited, but it got the job done.nWould I go back, probably - it was in the right part of the state for my travel. But I’d certainly look for something better.nI liked that we got a room with beds for 5. When traveling with kids, that is rare.
Room was clean. Removing carpet would be better. Breakfast basic, OK. Staff friendly.
Great service, rooms were comfortable however the only issue we had was that the hotel had a slight oder of what appeared an old smoking hotel.
