We stayed in Magnolia for a weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and secluded. We woke up to the sunrises over the hills and seeing the deer bedding down on both sides of the cabin. The bed was so soft and comfy. Great amenities! We will be back!!Rooms: 5/5
The Emerald Ash cabin was absolutely amazing! Perfect for a couples getaway! We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and a cozy, homey, Christmas atmosphere! The hot tub right outside the door is just icing on the cake! Will definitely be back!
We just returned from a stay in the Magnolia cabin. WOW! It was beautiful! The setting is wonderful, the hot tub was awesome on the cold 0 degree evenings. We had lots of wildlife around. The cabin was very clean and very well put together. It was the perfect little getaway and reset. I'm looking forward to more stays in the futureRooms: 5/5
Beautiful cabin and location! My husband and I thought the Magnolia Cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It did get a little chilly, so we had to crank up the heat and turn on the fireplace but then it was fine! We will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
We just stayed for the third time and we absolutely LOVE Decorah High Point Cabins. We stayed in Magnolia the first two trips, it’s gorgeous and super cozy for a solo or couple trip. We most recently stayed in the Aspen cabin and hands down, it has become our favorite. It’s secluded from the other cabins and has the best views from the hot tub and porch. The owners are super nice and accommodating, and have an eye for the perfect styling and comfort when designing each cabin. Can’t wait to come back!
We took a family trip for our Christmas this year. We chose High Point Cabins because we had heard good things about them. We stayed 3 nights. They did not disappoint! We had 11 people in the Pine cabin which is for 20, but this was good for us with presents, kids, coats and boots. The front door seemed to a bit crowded at times. There was enough space for everyone to have their own space. We used the hiking trail, one day. Beautiful scenery and a lookout point. The next day we had 6 inches of snow, so we took the kids sledding{we brought our sleds just in case}. I would highly recommend these cabins. It was beautiful in the winter, would love to go back in the summer!
We absolutely loved this place! Enjoyed the nature views; deer, birds, butterflies etc…the view from the hot tub is amazing. The cabin was spotless, clean and homey, stocked with everything we needed. Amazing getaway!!Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I have very busy lives with our children and work. We decided that we were going to do something different this year and decided on a couple of days away from everything. No schedules, no children and just each other. We stayed in the Magnolia cabin. We didn’t leave the property at all. We hiked the trail to the look out, sat on the deck and enjoyed the outdoors, and cooked on the grill. The kitchen was well equipped, the room was clean, the bed was very comfy. The hot tub was clean and worked great. It was nice to have some time to reconnect and enjoy our time. Everything was exactly as advertised. Reservation was easy, all questions were answered, they were very responsive to phone calls and text. Check in was simple and everything was ready when we arrived.
Best getaway cabin trip my wife and I have been on. The cabin is very cozy and amazing. Bed is super comfy. Hot tub was a plus with all the cold air we have been having this spring. Highly recommend for a short or longer getaway!Rooms: 5/5
We had a lovely stay last week. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We stayed in the Magnolia Cabin, which was very nicely decorated, comfortable, had everything we needed including a wonderful hot tub on the deck and a great view!. There were so many nice touches, like a bottle of wine provided as a welcome treat. The property is well-maintained but also very private. We loved it and will be back!
