Hotel itself was nice, rooms were clean and the location was what drove us to the hotel in the first place. Staff was nice but not very knowledgeable about area. Booked a room on website and had a different room when we got to hotel. Parking lot was small and didn't think anything of it until returning for evening and couldn't find a place to park. When we told receptionist that, she said to park on the street out front. When we told her there's a sign out from that says no overnight parking, she said someone else told her that and she doesn't know what we're talking about. We ended up parking a block down the road and walking back. Ended up being charged more than the website said we were going to, when I called after we checked out to inquire about this, I got the hotel voicemail 3 times as no one answered the phone. For the minimal amount of time we spent at the hotel, it was definitely weird. Ok place to stay if you just need a place to sleep and don't expect too much from the staff at the desk.

Our Stay at Cobblestone did not start well. Our room was not ready by 3:00PM and when we called an hour later it still was not ready. We showed up at 5:00 PM and the desk clerk was still not able to tell us if the room was ready. She was talking to a lady in the lobby and after I questioned her she identified herself as the manager. Whereas the desk clerk was very young and had very little experience with customer service and how to act professional the manager explained hey had staffing problems and she apologized. Our initial poor impression could have been helped with even a modest explanation by the desk clerk. We checked into a very nice clean room and after the evening shift came on duty we had very nice staff at the front desk. The facility was clean and very nice but I cannot say that it is quiet. There are train tracks within 200 feet of the building and they lay on the train horn for extended periods of time. We did not hear the train horn in the night time but you can hear the engines rumbling almost all night long. There are also a very limited number of parking spaces. I would recommend the facility if you are able to put up with the problems above.

We stayed for a family wedding in October. We tried to check in at 4:30 and at first they couldn't find my reservation for 2 rooms and basically said that I would be out of luck since they were booked. Once he found the reservation the rooms weren't ready. The front desk clerk was OBVIOUSLY stressed and not equipped to handle the situation. I thought that I would have been offered a discount to what I thought was a pricey room or something from the bar, but no. Oh and the train IS terrible noisy. I will say the location and Marquette are beautiful in the fall.

Nice front desk staff. Typical free breakfast had lovely ham one day and Polish sausage the next. Pet Friendly! Cool walk bridge to scenic overlook from 4th floor lounge. VERY limited parking on site. Shares building with city offices (kind of interesting multi function). Has a small bar! South facing room got very warm even with drapes closed.

The price was way overrated. Fitness room had one treadmill and one stationary bike, which was also located in the same small room as the washer and dryer. Breakfast was typical Hotel microwave created kind of thing. Parking was horrendous!!!!!! The "bar" consisted of four stools on the same counter as the front desk. And they only had one wine glass. Other than that the rooms were decent. And the hotel itself in good shape and clean. I don't normally complain but for $132 a night this was unacceptable. If it was $80 range I would have more forgiving. And unfortunately by the time we got checked in on Friday night it was too late to cancel for Saturday night because it was less than 24 hours
