Stone Lion Vineyard Bed and Breakfast

I highly Recommend Stone lion Winery Bed and Breakfast! My husband and I just had our wedding there on August 29th, 2020. We were very fortunate to drive by this venue the week we found out our original venue Majestic Oaks would not be able to accommodate the amount of guests we wanted due to Covid restrictions. My husband and I were determined to still get married on our date but we needed to quickly find an alternative! Luckily, we drove by Stone lion Winery. We set up a tour- fell in love with the beautiful setting and tent but we were officially sold when we met the owners Dave and Kathy. They were so kind and ready to answer all of our questions all the way up to the Big day and beyond! The bonus was the bed and breakfast which was very well kept, very nice, and breakfast was delicious both mornings I stayed there. Our wedding ended up even better at Stone lion than I think the original plan would have been. We are so grateful for the spacious, beautiful tent for the reception, the outdoor ceremony in front of the vineyard, and the owners who made planning and coordinating as stress free as it could be. We had our wedding here in July. Kathy and Dave spent a lot of time to make sure everything went well and made accommodations for our group. They were easy to work with. They were upfront with providing information but also be sure to read your contract thoroughly. We stayed overnight and the rooms were very clean, comfortable and organized. Breakfast was outstanding! Dave and Kathy are wonderful to converse with; they have so many interesting stories to share. We had an overall great experience and look forward to staying again for a future anniversary.

We had our wedding at The Stone Lion Bed and Breakfast and Vineyard last weekend and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of! Dave and Kathy are unbelievably sweet and motivated people all around. It has been such a pleasure to work with them over the last year. They have done everything they possibly could to make sure that our day went smoothly and took pressure off of us. Everything on their property is beautiful! From the grounds, to the tent and vineyard, bed and breakfast, ceremony site, etc. it is all stunning. We would definitely recommend renting out the bed and breakfast rooms for the weekend. All of the girls bride and bridesmaids stayed at the bed and breakfast the night before the wedding and were able to wake up and have our hair and makeup done at the house. Kathy made a delicious breakfast for us all and it was such a relaxing start to a wonderful day. The tent was beautiful and functional. We, and all of our guests, absolutely loved it! Dave and Kathy were able to get a heater to keep our guests nice and warm since it was a cool night. We can’t say enough good things about Dave and Kathy and their venue!

Fantastic service, great value! We hosted our wedding at the Stone Lion and it was a great time! We got many compliments from our guest on the beautiful venue. The only issue we had was when the heater rental company was rented out on our weekend so had to go with a slightly more expensive option, so play it safe and lock down heaters in advance! The owners Kathy and Dave were great and went above and beyond to ease our stress on more than one occasion.

Absolutely wonderful place. I was the brides personal attendant and slept over with the bridal party. This place is gorgeous. The setting is really neat and the decor is charming. The owners are super nice and extremely accommodating. They were on top of everything and really helpful. The wedding itself went off without a hitch and when we got to the reception there was a little problem with our sound system and the owners noticed and came to help out even though we didn't ask them. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Stone Lion Vineyard B&B and could not have been more pleased. Everything on the property was absolutely stunning, from the vineyards, to the tent and the B&B. It took our breath away! The owners, Dave and Kathy, went above and beyond taking care of us. Not only are they extremely kind and genuine people, but their hospitality is superb. They did everything in their power to ensure our day was as stress free as possible. Their attention to detail is immaculate! Our stay in the Itaska Suite was lovely. Upon returning to our room for the evening we found a bottle of wine on ice, along with meat, cheese and crackers. What a wonderful surprise! The following morning Kathy served us a delicious breakfast of our choosing, complete with fresh fruit and juice. I had Kathy’s famous Apple french toast, which I loved! We are extremely grateful to have stumbled upon this hidden gem! Whether your looking to host a wedding, event, or simply get away for the weekend, Stone Lion Vineyard B&B could not come more highly recommended. Thank you Dave and Kathy for providing us with such an unforgettable experience. We look forward to staying again with you in the near future!

We looked here for a potential wedding venue and loved it. The owners are so nice and accommodating and the options they have are wonderful! The pictures online don't do this place justice it's gorgeous and has a big bed and breakfast which is built in this beautiful brick which makes a great background. I definitely recommend checking it out!! It was just too far from our house & families traveling from so many different places.

Dave and Kathy are great at what they do. My husband and I got married at Stone Lion Vineyard at the end of August and also rented out the Bed and Breakfast. I feel lucky to have stumbled on the venue through AirBnB. When I first emailed Dave, he was quick to respond. When we met in-person, there was no doubt, this was the place where we were going to get married. Not only do they have exceptional customer service, they went above and beyond to make our day possible. Kathy asked great questions and was able to help me with the minor details that I had not thought about. I ran into an issue the day before the wedding but Dave and Kathy found a resolution within an hour and everything on the day-of ran smoothly. Our stay in the bed and breakfast was amazing, the rooms are big and cozy. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue, they loved it, the whole thing was beautiful.

A great experience! Their home was beautiful, the room was luxurious the Itasca Suite and Dave and Kathy were gracious hosts. Breakfast was phenomenal, the pancakes and the apple French toast were both delicious. A very calming, relaxed atmosphere and a much needed getaway. A great addition to the area and worth a visit!

Perfect getaway for people who live in the twin cities! We really enjoyed our room and the property. We felt very relaxed from our stay. Everything was updated and well maintained. Kathy and David were wonderful hosts and run a great property.
