Great view. Staff could be more welcoming. Food very tender and plentiful but not seasoned at all.Staff not attentive even though there were only 4 table's filled. Prices high but good quality. Would like to try again..maybe they were having an off day..it happens.

Went there yesterday expecting to pay a premium price for the luxury of a great meal in a beautiful setting, enjoying the view. We were told that we couldn’t sit out on the deck because they needed to hire more people to service that area, then were told we couldn’t have a window seat because they were unable to push 2 tables together in order to accommodate our party of 5. The place was empty except for one other party of 4. The staff was friendly, but our waitress never come back to check on how our meal was. I had to shout out to get her attention when she raced by our table, in order to get a condiment for my burger. I tried to ignore the fact that the lettuce was wilted with brown edges, and all of our sweet potato fries were burned. Not once were we asked how our meal was, or our water glasses filled. And it was COLD in there! It’s such a beautiful place, but it was obvious why they weren’t busy. It’s really a shame. I will never return. Oh, and the burger wasn’t even good. And I was really trying to like it. We were all disappointed, sadly. We knew the prices were on the higher side, but agreed beforehand that it would be worth paying for a good meal in a beautiful setting with a view. That’s not what we got.☹️

My birthday dinner; there were ten of us on a rainy Sunday night. We've eaten here a few times and loved it. It's such a neat building. We had made reservations, and we were seated comfortably, and immediately. I had the ribs and one of their barrel-aged Manhattens, and it was amazing. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect. Their whiskey selection is... well, let's just say I'm a big fan. The young kid taking care of us was excellent, and the manager was right there and made sure the evening was wonderful. It's not our first time here, and we're going to keep coming back. (And the outside patio overlooking the river in the summer is beautiful, too.) For special occasions (like late Saturday afternoon after a long day of adventuring) it can't be beat. One of our favorite restaurants.

So much history around this beautiful facility and in the town of Carver where it is. Windows look out on the river. Good service, staff wanting to please, and food is presented lovely and is as good as it looks!

We celebrated 60 years of marriage today at Stonecliff. It could not have been better! Food was great. Have to say the onion rings were the best we have ever eaten. The staff went above and beyond to make this a very special day. Thank you so much. We are definitely going there again!
