4 generations in my family have gone here. We have gotten great care. Dr Snelling is great with the kids, and listens empathetically. When I've needed to be seen right away, I have gotten an appointment same day or next. Our family apprectes them.

My mother has Dementia and I joined her in her appointment with Dr. Snelling. Dr. Snelling was very kind, patient and caring with my 86 year old mother. I truly felt that she cares about what she does and has great empathy for others. It was a pleasure to meet Dr Snelling. Thank you !!!!

Receptionist was extremely rude, disgusting behaviour in a professional environment. I explained to another receptionist an older lady, who is always very pleasant that I had forgotten my face mask at home and understood it’s frustrating for them, to have people like me come in not wearing a face mask. But being a new mom I am more often forgetful with little sleep and always feeling rushed. I also said If it was an issue I could run across to the pharmacy and grab a box of masks however that would make me even more late for me appointment. This is when the rude lady intervened. Throwing a masks at me and said “oh that’s convenient”. This is when she came from around the desk yelling at me, asking me if I see and read the big orange signs saying masks are mandatory. Again trying to explain that I am human and humans make mistakes. Nowhere during this interaction did I ever not acknowledge that I was at fault. This woman yelled at me so loudly that a doctor came out of her office and told her to stop and it wasn’t worth getting worked up over. Unfortunately it is impossible to find other doctors right now, nor do I think I should have to change doctors because of this intolerable, miserable excuse of a woman but it will make future appointments uncomfortable to say the least. Someone who acts like this should not be working in a medical office.

What a shame! The person taking the appointment is SO rude!!! Feel sorry for her.

I have been calling sine a week or so to book an appointment. Line always always busy or failed! not sure why. It would be really nice if they answered their phones...

Over the years my wife and I have experienced none of the issues reported in earlier reviews. The front staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. Prokopriak is friendly and professional. A minor issue is that sometimes appointments can be hard to get scheduled in a timely manner due to the doctor's availability.

I'd like to give a shout out to the very helpful medical Receptionist at the Stittsville Medical Centre. She went out of her way to get a message to our Doctor who was on vacation regarding my Husband's poison ivy. Within 24 hrs. he had the medication needed to get rid of it. Thank you once again!

They would have a higher rating if you could actually talk to someone or leave a voicemail. Even during the hours where they should pick up the phone you can never get through or it just cuts off. You can’t email. Nothing. My issue is not necessarily an Emergency so I’m not going there but when you are dealing with anxiety and don’t think you should be at work anymore you kinda need your family doctor. ER doc will say the same.

Although my doctor is kind i have had a alot of injuries over the last few weeks getting appointments is next to impossible. The answer I have been given twice now is "well if it's that bad go to the ER" it is hard to believe that I am unable to get a phone call appointment without having to wait a week or more. I hate to speculate but why is a family doctors office so over booked that if you have a question about your health you should have to wait 7-14 days for an answer. I wish they would either expand the location and get more physicians or stop accepting new patients because I don't believe I should have to go to the Emergency room in order to get a requisition for an xray, or wait 3 weeks to have a requisition for blood work to be emailed.

My son and I have not had any of the issues previously mentioned in reviews. The receptionists are very busy but they've been nothing but polite and helpful. Dr.Snelling has been very attentive and thorough.
