If you're in town, this is a nice place to hit up.
Ambiance/location is definite 5 out of 5. On the patio on a nice day and looking over the water was great. It's why we came, not specifically for the food but for the view and ambiance. It's what you'll see when you look up pictures of this place. I don't want to allude that this is the only reason why tourists would come here but, it was the main draw for us. We didn't dine indoors so can't comment on that experience.
Food is 3 out of 5. I ordered the fish and chips (perch, to be specific) with an Irish stout and my girlfriend ordered mussels and fries with sangria. Perch was not a solid fillet as I was expecting but several thin, smaller pieces with fries. I think this took away from the fish flavor that I'm used when compared to a more traditional thick, flaky, single piece fillet. My girlfriend's plate was a bowl of mussels buried under a generous serving of fries. Had I not known better, I would've thought that she ordered a giant bowl of fries. Sangria was a bit heavy on the ice.
Overall, I don't have anything really negative to say about what we ordered. The food was honestly OK, in my opinion, and priced accordingly.
As for the service, no complaints there.

Food was excellent, but I have to take a star off for the service. First, we had to wait 2 hours for a table. Granted it was a Friday night, but waiting 2 hours for a table is absolutely outrageous. Half of the restaurant was closed, with only the other half and the patio open. This may be responsible for why so few people were getting seated. The host (possibly the manager or owner, I'm not sure), at first gave us an estimate of ~1 hour, which we decided to wait. After 45 minutes we wanted to check in on where we stood in line, only to be informed that it would be another 30 minutes or so. After 30 more minutes, it was another 30 minutes. Took more than 2 hours for us to finally get a table, and after that it was just a very rushed job with the ordering and the waitress coming around every few minutes asking us if we were ready for the bill. Despite the service, the food and atmosphere really is fantastic but I would recommend going for lunch or dinner on an off day.

1.5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the overall restaurant experience and service. The location is great. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting outdoors on the patio, but I wasn't too fond of their spinach dip--it was way too cheesy and dripping in oil. The tortilla chips were also very oily. As for the chicken wrap, I wasn't a fan--I've had better. I might try other items on their menu next time. The restaurant looks upscale, but for the most part I was not impressed with the food. It's one of those places that kind of looks fancy, and so you have greater expectations... but you should lower them.

We went on a busy Saturday night and had a reservation but had to wait a bit so we had to wait at the bar. The bar was in a very very tiny room. Once we were seated the staff was super friendly and the view was nice even at night but the food was nothing special. I guess for the location and look of the place I thought maybe the food would have been better then something I could have gotten from Kelsey's. Still overall a nice place.

We went to Stillwaters for the first time for Valentine's Day. It was a great experience from pre-arrival to our departure. I emailed the manager regarding reservations and he was very friendly and accommodating! Having gone in the evening, the restaurant was dimly-lit and beautifully so. There is an outdoor seating area looking over the Grand which we have not yet been on.
The food was unique; the cast iron arugula & 3 cheese dip was flavourful, though the other dish we ordered was disappointingly bland. The service was good. Hearing the roars and smelling the aroma of the open kitchen as it melted into the background environment was interesting to experience! Overall, this was a unique and pleasant experience for a romantic night out in Paris.
