The Cedar House

Great food good and a good atmosphere, is how I remembered it. Instead, two weeks back, I waited 40 minutes for a high chair to arrive, thirty minutes for drinks. Taking your food order, maybe 50 minutes? And this was on a Sunday afternoon. The other servers didn't look busy, but our's couldn't ask for help. A two hour experience for 2 burgers. 2 beers, a salad and a soup made me late/miss for my friend's mother's wake. Much appreciated. Such bad service. If pressed for time, like an afternoon's worth, don't go there.

I was not crazy for the penne primavera. Too many mushrooms for my liking.

The service was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Our every request was granted. The food was perfect. I highly recommend the crab cakes and New York strip loin. And finally, they have a great selection of beer, including a number of local craft brews.

The server was friendly and helpful. The food was very well prepared. Parking wasn't a problem. Everything went smoothly, with no hiccups. We will definitely go here again.
