Love that this is an authentic German bakery with all the types of breads and baked treats that make me feel nostalgic!  Always loved them at the Saturday Market but I enjoy the cozy storefront which also has German preserves and other familiar goods. Staff are always kind and get you what you need! Hard to find good German baking outside of the GTA so happy that this bakery exists.

No sign for the bakery on the big plaza sign, and can be hard (impossible) to spot from the road, so be sure to keep an eye out for the building number or you will drive right by!

Good coffee spot in the morning in the downtown core of Peterborough. Great variety of options for vegetarians. Comfortable atmosphere with quirky art for sale and games/magazines to peruse.
