Feedback on Price Matching Policy at No FrillsnnI’ve been a loyal No Frills customer in Peterborough since 2015, consistently choosing this location for its convenience, selection, and usually great customer service. However, I had an issue with the price-matching policy during my recent visit.nnI planned to purchase 24 cans of Campbell’s soup for my family of five, including two children with autism who have specific dietary needs. I’ve successfully price-matched larger quantities in the past without issues. However, the cashier informed me I could only price match 4 cans, citing the store’s policy, but couldn’t clarify whether the limit was per person, family, or transaction.nnThe store manager, who identified herself as the owner’s sister, confirmed this interpretation and directed me to contact “corporate.” I later spoke with the owner, who explained it was a store-level decision to enforce the 4-item limit per family. Head office later confirmed that while No Frills has a standard policy, enforcement details are left to individual store owners.nnThis lack of clarity caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience during my shopping trip. I respectfully suggest that the policy wording be updated to specify limits clearly e.g., “per customer” vs. “per family” to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future.nnThank you for considering this feedback. I value shopping at No Frills and hope for clearer communication going forward.

Very disappointed. Went to do grocery shopping at 7pm only to be met with locked doors and a very barely visible sign saying they closed for a staff party. Your hours online said you were open. You need to update that. Must be nice to just close an entire store 3 hours early for a party without informing customers. Do better

It is a favorite store of many people. Prices are very acceptable. There is also a pharmacy, which is a good thing. Upon departure, you can go to self-service. I can say it was a good shopping experience.

I've been shopping at the store for years it is my go-to store in Peterborough however they do lack some things like they don't make their own bread they don't have a deli for some reason they just will not sell the salad I like even though they have every single other type of salad you could even imagine! Even the same brand just not the specific one I like other than that they're pretty great as for meat like steaks and roasts farm boy is your better choice but if you want to buy things like chicken and bacon pretty fair prices
