Wow, what an experience, very welcoming, usually I go to the Keg, that’s my fave now, I can’t say more positive things about this place, food was amazing, steak was out of this world! Everything is great, highly recommend. Lydia Was smiling all the time, takes her time to advise to what to get. Although I’m quite confident with usually what I want to order, but I went with what our waitress lydia had to serve. Amazing place! Waitress is amazingly great! Thank you! P.S. try the calmar and shrimps!

Get ready to spend a lot if you're hungry. No regrets on everything i ordered. Good selection of cocktails. I order the Moscow mule and they used actual fresh ingredients. And it was strong, which I always appreciate. Sangria was good too. The calamari was good but I think they need to add more seasoning to the batter, can't just rely on the sauce for flavour. Although the sauces were delicious. The brie fondant was amazing. So creamy. Overprice for what it is. I loved the decor and ambiance. Music isn't to loud so you can still converse with others. The steaks: new York strip My steak was perfectly cooked. The only thing that disappointed me was the seasoning. There was enough. It was still delicious. But lacked a little juicyness. Still delicious. The gravy really complimented the steak well. I think it was a red wine gravy. The vegetables and potatoes that came with it was uneventful. Mashed potatoes were there. I'll forgive it since the star has to be the steak. Steak 2: roast beef It was amazing. Value is worth it. It was juicy and so tender. Melted in my mouth. No sauce needed for this steak. Dessert: Not worth it.

Mediocre at best... Very dissatisfied with the quality of food, flavour, and cost. It was way too expensive for what it was. The salad was bland, calamari was salty, and the steak has little to no flavour. I've cooked better aged steaks in my own home for a quarter of the price... Not to mention the souffle came out burnt..

Food was good, service could've been a little better. The only hiccup is that I found a strand of hair in my ceaser salad but as soon as it was mentioned, they apologized and brought me another salad. All in all, good experience minus the hair

My second visit, here, at Sterlings Laval, in 5 years Just dined there on Sunday evening Oct 2nd. By now, after years of testing them all I have tried ALL the steakhouses of Laval and Montreal, I can safely say that Sterlings is now my go-to Steakhouse in Laval and surroundings meaning Montreal, etc. as long as it continues to be as great as they have been on those two visits great service, classy feel and mood, no drama, no attitude, just getting the job done and doing it well, great steaks, the food tasty and on point.

Edit 2021/09/11 Just came back and I confirm it was still very good. NY Steak and rib steak we're cooked medium to perfection. Service A+ prices a bit on the high end but you get what you pay for. After reading a lot of conflicting reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and try and this place didn't disappoint. Service was A1. For people who say it's slow, it wasn't and I'd rather them taking the time to prepare our meal properly than going to fast and taking the risk of not preparing properly. I asked for medium rare and as you can see, spot on. The crust was there and it was tender and flavorful. The fries, vetetables and sauces were all great. The clam chowder soup was also very good. No complaints here and honestly, I'm debating how this place compares to the big names, for the price, I'd say it's up there. Will go again, good job guys!

As I walked into Sterling I already expected a great night after seeing the decor. Once we got introduced to our waitress Margareth I even became confident it was gonna be a MEMORABLE night. Great food, incredible atmosphere, Michelin star service. Will definitely come back.

Always consistent, always an incredible experience. The team genuinely cares about you as a guest and wants you to enjoy yourself. The food is exquisite and the atmosphere is inviting. Go for the service, the food or the fun you can't lose.
