Another Carribean flavour restaurant in the area that was recommended to us. Clean, well maintained medium size operation. Shanza who took our order and brought it to the car when it was ready to have us not having to wait inside as it can get busy and with covid protocols etc. Was very friendly, took the time out to explain certain items on the menu and was a pleasant to deal with although she was busy answering the phone and bringing out the take out orders. We like the food but was disappointed with the shrimp rolls which was way too thin and tasted like there was hardly anything on the inside. Would definitely return again.

The best fried rice I've ever had! I eat a lot of fried rice, so I know what I'm talking about. I love that they also put green onions, onions and bits of green beans in it, adds a lot texturally. The fried chicken on top is really juicy and good, too! I first had it because someone brought a party tray to an event I was at. I had to find out where it was from and now I feel like I have to spread the word about its goodness :

On Saturday December 31st I had a suprises party for my husband. I ordered food from starlie my husband always like there food. All my guests loved the food it was amazing. Keep up the amazing quality and taste of your food.

Went for lunch with a friend. The food was awesome. Great portions. My kids enjoyed the leftovers I brought home. I'm looking forward to going back.Food: 5/5

Usually the food is good here, not on this occasion. I ordered a chicken fried rice and I got a Starlite special fried rice with every meat possible, and we are allergic to shell fish. My complaint felt like it fell on deaf ears, because not much was dont to rectify yhe problem. All i got was bring it back and well make you a new one. I travelled there to pick it up. My time, my gas. I felt they should of have had the right meal delivered to me, or at the very least comp my meal for free to compensate me for my time and gas. This happen because they play the music way too loud in the restaurant. You can't even hear each other without shouting. You can't have good conversation over dinner at those decibels. The wait staff are always pleasant and attentive.

Great food and drinks especially on the weekends when they have their events.The Staff is very helpful in getting your orders. Truly a great West Indian Bar.

Been coming to this restaurant for years since they opened up at this location. Family restaurant is the perfect name for this place because it really does give off that vibe the minute you enter. I always bring my family and friends every time I go here and we always enjoy the excellent West Indian cuisines along with the famous “bucket special” they always have year round 5 beers for around 20 bucks! My personal favourites I will recommend to anyone visiting are the chicken wings and the pepper shrimp. Arguably the best pepper shrimp I ever had in Toronto, and the wings, any flavour you choose might be your new favourite! Must try this restaurant out if you want some amazing bar food, prices are super affordable and for the portions absolutely worth it!

I was a bit weary about this place coming in as soon as they opened today. But damn, the food was amazing. General Tso with chicken fried rice 9.99. Definitely would come back. Service was super friendly too.
