Starbucks

I’m a Starbucks fanatic and this is truly not up to par. Food and service were consistent as usual but the washroom situation needs improvement immediately. Disgusting washrooms with strong odour; it looks like there may be some level of Renos happening but the wires are hanging from the ceiling and the walls need to be repainted. Overall good amount of space and the food/drinks were tasty and hot as expected along with a great location. Go here but don’t use the washroom - there’s a McDonald’s across the street.

The Starbucks itself is nice but the bathroom situation is insulting and as another poster said gross. The ladies’ bathrooms are locked and the men’s bathrooms are open, there is no lock on the men’s door. There are 3 stalls in the ladies bathroom but there was a guy standing outside the door with the key in the door saying his relative needed to use it so go into the guys bathroom which was unlocked. This is very bad advice since a guy could walk in and start using the urinal while you are in there and unnecessary since the bathroom has three stalls. Very low class treatment and discriminatory in my opinion both bathrooms should be open or locked but one gender should not be treated as if they are less trustworthy and their time is of less value. There is also the problem with a 3 stall bathroom being used as a one stall. Really negative experience when a stranger is allowed to push someone else around as if the bathroom were a luxury item. Avoid this Starbucks. They send you a survey asking about customer experience with no comment section so there is nowhere on the survey to complain about the sexist bathroom arrangement.k

Clean and friendly staff! I liked that they gave me the keys to the bathroom even though I wasn't buying anything.. although I ended up buying a latte 5 minutes after.
