Stumbled upon this place while walking in Mile End. Neat atmosphere, decor looks like something your grandparents might have - older tables and shelves with neat nick knacks on them. Stopped in for a drink and ended up getting a $2 Taco as well. Filling of beans and rice with the cabbage and cilantro sauce was fantastic. Soft shell was toasted so it had a nice crisp to it when you took a bite. Great value at $2! Ordered a warm Rachel's Remedy, whiskey with lemon and fresh ginger. So good on a cold night in Montreal. Really warmed down to the soul

I think this place serves some of the best desserts and pastries in Montreal. I'm in love with their Russian tea cakes. There is a nice selection of teas too. It's cash only but there is a cash machine inside.

Nice cafe.
It’s constantly targeting by pick pockets. Wife’s purse was stolen and when staff was asked, they openly told us this, after the fact.
Staff know, but do nothing.
They have no cameras.
They don’t put up warning signs.
Watch your stuff, and in the neighbourhood.

Hippie-hipster young place. Relax vibe. Food is really good quality and tasty. You can grab an affordable lunch there! Try the brownies with sea salt!
