Staples Vernon

It is always such a pleasant experience to shop at Staples. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If they are having a bad day you certainly would never know it. They have gone above & beyond many times to ensure that I get what I need (and sometimes things I've forgotten I need :)) and at the best price possible. Thank-you to Jamie, Cindy, Gary, Kimmi & all the other staff for making this a great place to get my office & tech needs.

The copier is done by you! Load a gift card than copy and have a balance leftover. Yay. Staples is so cool. Sarcasm.

I have never seen such a predatory sales experience trying to push a worthless extended warranty ever. I was with my friend, who's a pensioner, to buy a paper shredder. At the till he was ganged up by the cashiers who were almost forcing him to get the extended 2 year warranty which was 20% of the purchase price. When I pointed out to him that his credit card actually provided that same warranty, they were slagging that fact, saying "good luck with that" and generally seeding doubt in his mind to get him to buy their warranty. They didnt tell him that the first year warranty overlaps the existing 1 year warranty, and were trying to scare him that the Platinnum Visa warranty would leave him high and dry. It's a paper shredder, not some vital piece of tech that would cripple someone if not immediately replaced that day. Overall, terrible. I will never send my clients to Staples again, and will warn them against this store in particular. 100% worst store experience I have ever seen.
