I like staples for the products they carry and the servives they offer. They carry many office related items that are difficult to find at other brick and mortar stores.nnThey also offer passport photo services and self-serve printing/scanning stations. They are also a package drop location for some courrier services.nnWhat I very much dislike about staples is the lack of proper customer service at the appropriate places.nnFinding an employee on the floor to help find a product is nearly impossible, while the employees at the cell phone sales booth watch you pace the store repeatedly while offering no help. It's not their job. I get it.nnThe worst, though, is using their self-serve printers and scanners. Being a part of the younger generation, I am technologically savy. Many who use this service are from an older generation who are not familiar with these processes.nnMore frequently than not, there is only a singular employee operating the passport photo desk, package drop off desk, and self-serve station. As such, I've had to go out of my way to help people use the machines because the employee was too occupied with the workload they were provided.nnBecause of this, the lineup at that specific counter usually has 10+ people waiting for various services.nnFor a store that charges so much for their products and services, they really shouldn't spread their employees so thin.
0 customer service. I will not come back again . Worst customer service. I went to purchase printer wait for like Atleast 20 minutes and then I wait another 5 minutes . At last , girl came named “NEHA” try to talk to her didn’t even listen properly and said having none in the store , I went to see cashier she ignored , went down to show on website it says 2 available for pick up and again without talking upfront no . I understand even if there is none , she should stay and listen like what we are saying . We were about to ask another options, no respond. No idea, how come management is hiring these people for customer service .nnReally needs to work on customer service and specially give her training so that she will understand how to deal with customers
Store was not very organized, if I could find a staff member, they were in their own world typing on their cell phones. When I did finally find someone, they didn't know what I was talking about rolls of adding machine paper, nor did they know what an adding machine itself is. Some better product knowledge training might be beneficial. As much as I hate to say it, if staff are not going to acknowledge customers when they need help, a policy about personal devices on the sales floor when on shift.
Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered 12 4x6 photos online and their website said it would be ready in 1-3 business days. I placed my order on Tuesday. It is Saturday and I have not yet received a confirmation email. I went to check and see if my order was ready in person and I could not find an employee to speak to ask about this. One of the most short staffed stores I have seen in a while.nnTaking my business to Walmart Photo Centre instead.
Always enjoy visiting my local Staples. On our latest trip my lively wife, Pat, needed to pick up a couple old video reels she had them transfer onto USB flash drives. Of course I volunteered to drive her and enter the store with Pat.nShe also took care of a couple packages mailed at our address to previous tenants no longer living here, via a popular delivery service. Pat phoned ahead and Staples let her know they deal with the same company and would have them take care of redirecting the parcels.nWhile browsing we were surprised and delighted to discover they happen to carry ground coffee and fortunately carry the same product we use. Picked up a container.nI enjoyed looking at the various displays and checking out what's new.nNever get tired of this place. Love the variety of writing instruments, various paper selections and wandering their aisles simply browsing.nPlenty of available parking in the outside parking lot. Always clean inside with extremely hospitable employees.
