I dealt with a happy helpful employee named Jacob on Saturday at about 11 am. Jacob was so knowledgeable and sweet I wanted to switch to Virgin Mobile from Lucky so Jacob tried his best to get me accepted to the new cell carrier from the one I’m with but I changed my mind half way through and he still helped me with other questions I had then he recommended some good local places as I’m new here. It was like meeting up with my son - nothing was too much trouble and Jacob helped me so much but to him it was no trouble. Thank you Staples for hiring such great people!

I went in needing to print a label for an Amazon return. There were several people waiting in line. Staff rotated over from another department to facilitate faster customer service. Simon was very friendly and efficient with several people before I got to the head of the line. He mentioned that he could do it but would have to charge me $3. On the other hand I could use self print using the Amazon email for much less.nThis would be great if not for the level of technical knowledge required. It would have taken me significantly longer to learn and navigate the system. Simon must have seen the dread on my face, and he sped through the process quickly and efficiently, without charging me for the time. Very much appreciated!

iPad CasenWent looking in Chemainus and Duncan for a case for my full size iPad, wanted to buy local. Checked all the big box stores, could not find what I wanted, which was very specific. Had to have carry handles and a shoulder strap, be padded for device protection, be well made with good zippers and, preferably, be just big enough for my iPad. Thrilled to find this case at Staples, ticks all the boxes, reasonable price, great colour.nHighly recommend.

Went in yesterday for an emergency cellphone as mine had died i work from my phone and it was time for an upgrade anyways They didn’t have the one I wanted in stock but Jacob and Jaiden went above and beyond. They called every other staples to see if they could find me the one I wanted but when they weren’t in stock they helped me a choose a new phone that I love. This may sound simple but we kept running into issues and they solved them all apple doesn’t like to sell phones outright, my plan wasn’t up etc. they were so professional and polite. Give these boys a raise!

This store is large and very clean. You will find friendly staff available to assist you on the floor with a lot of product knowledge and in-stock items.
