Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House

I always enjoy gas station breakfast places. Especially when they are Good! The food is very fresh and relatively speaking well priced. Service was great and very friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Food was pretty good but when we were leaving we noticed the chef was in a tank top and her hair was not in a hair net. She was obviously very hot and was sweating profusely wiping her face to comfort herself BUT didn't wash her hands after. She needs to wear appropriate chef attire (head & body) & use proper hand hygiene. If it's that hot in the cooking area management needs to make it more comfortable for the cooks. We would not recommend this establishment until this is taken care of. On a side note, the waitress was fantastic.

The food is excellent, but the waitress we had this morning was absolutely ignorant to us. Most of the times they're good and when we return, we will ask for a different waitress if she tries to serve us again. No top ups on the coffee and was ignorant about giving us the breakfast special. If she had handled that better then the rating would be a 5 star.

I’ve only been here once, so keep the ol’ grain of salt in mind. I probably won’t be back, though. Food - Got the three egg breakfast with bacon. The eggs were supposed to be scrambled but they were more like straight-up fried. Had non of the typical light scramble texture and were definitely overcooked. The bacon was bland and very chewy, like thin strips of leather. The homefries weren’t fully cooked through. The smaller chunks were fine, but the larger ones were not. The toast was good. And it came with some delicious jam. Beverage - Hot chocolate with whipped cream. Very good. Nice and chocolatey. Service - Nice but inefficient. I wasn’t even offered a glass of water at any point. It’s not often I don’t tip. Location - Cool, fun interior. BUT, the women’s bathroom is half broken. One of the doors doesn’t even lock. I elected to use the toilet at Starbucks. Extras - They have a syrup dispenser at each table. It’s a nice touch. Made the bacon a lot better. Price - Very reasonable, much lower than most breakfast joints. But doesn’t make up for the disappointing meal.

Always a great experience at Stacked. Be prepared to wait for a bit for a table, as this is a popular spot (particularly on weekends) but the staff is amazing and the food is fantastic!
