Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

Not sure exactly why, but I really enjoy the atmosphere here; I guess it's a bit dark and loud and lively for a night out with friends. Everything I've tried on the menu has been great and nicely presented. The servers have been friendly and upbeat, though on a few occasions service has been slow (which has seemed related to busy periods with not enough staff, not so much the servers fault). They've recently added something like 40 craft beers to their menu.

Jack Astor's is the best of all the chain franchise restaurants. Their menu changes often and never gets boring, plus they have the best and largest selection of craft beer in town. They support local breweries, so I support this restaurant. Great place to watch your favorite sports team with large HD screens everywhere. The recent Bar renovations really help create a vibrant atmosphere for the lunch and after work crowd. Go Sports Team Go!

Overall the food is pretty good. However the serving staff is hit & miss with quality service. The one waitress was reminded three times for a glass of water, I eventually gave up asking.

Always a great experience! Kevin and Jay are our most frequent servers and they always make sure we are happy, despite how super picky I am 😊. Must eats: - cheesy garlic pan bread - calamari - bruschetta - chicken wings - holy smoke burger (best savory burger) - sweet potato fries w/chipotle mayo

Fish and chips, large portion and delicious. Chicken tenders were juicy and tasty. Cheddar soup was great. Server was excellent, good ambience for mass market restaurant.
