Really nice campground, very clean bathrooms with hot showers and dish washing stations with hot water. Camp hosts were really nice and the spot was great. Swimming was awesome with a nice big beach and plenty of picnic benches. Restrooms: Hot showers Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space to walk the dog, on leash of course. Picnic area: Big covered patio with several picnic tables.
We stayed 4 nights, and it rain the first few days. FREE, HOT showers, rhe best!! Even with the rain it was a fun trip and we had a campfire each night. The swim area was great. And access points for paddle boats, regular boats and canoes. The staff was friendly and kind. Even with the rain they managed to keep it fairly clean. I'd recommend site 21 if you need to be near the bathroom. The lights don't go off, but considering they are open to campers all night a nice safety feature. You will get to greet most of the campers on you loop going to ro back from the bathroom. LOL. Sites 6 & 7 are easier to access the bathroom with a wheelchair. Playground: No playground, but kids were playing, biking, swimming according to their abilities. Restrooms: Lovely clean bathrooms, and mostly accessible bathrooms no pressure plates for the door with free hot showers. Dog-friendliness: There were lots of dogs of all types. Picnic area: Near the swimming area and docks. Barbecue: One pit near the public beach. Each campsite had a ringged pit with a movable grill rack.
Sweet little beach! It was open for day use and we were so glad to go to the beach as a family. They have clear markings showing depth. Water was chilly, but pretty clean and a little rocky. The beach was crowded at 1pm on a July Saturday, makes sense, but we couldn’t find a spot on the beach so had to go on the grass in the woods. Overall, a great experience!
Nice, small, campground. Large well kept restroom with showers, a boat launch and a small beach access/ swimming area. Most people here had some type of water toy like a kayak, paddle board or the like since you can easily carry them down to the water from your camp site. Sites didn't have a lot of privacy but I've stayed at worse, certainly nothing like a KOA. No trails to speak of so for us this was a place to hang by the water and head out for the day to other hiking destinations.
Very clean, welcoming staff. Nice spots for a tent or two. Has bathrooms, showers and dishwashing station. Water spout for fresh water and garbage cans located around the loop. Fire pits and wood available. A little noisy, not bad…traffic and train. Lots of bugs bring spray.
Really great place. Very clean, extremely friendly staff, the water was super clear and the perfect temperature. With the views you get from the beach here, it almost looks like a different country. I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend. Thank you to the Springy Point staff for a great couple of days!
Great camping spot. Beautiful. Sandy beach. Free hot showers. Felt very safe. Hosts always doing rounds keeping things running smoothly.
A gorgeous, relatively new campground north of Coeur d’Alene. It’s not really big rig friendly because they chose to keep many trees right next to the road and camp sites. However, if you’re smaller than 35’, you’ll love the shaded campsites along the shore of the lake. Decent cell coverage for ATT and Verizon.
Great little campground, very clean. Bathrooms clean. Camp hosts very nice. Lots of families camping. Camp site we got lucky, is right on the water, there was a cancellation that opened up last second. Sites are smaller than normal sites, if you have a large tent, it will be tight. Best for 1-2 small tents, unless you camp with Rvs. Sites are close to each other, so it seems like you will get to know your neighbors camping. Lots of trees, not much brush. Upper camp sites can see the lake a little bit threw trees. But the lower 2 camp sites look right out on the lake. Easy walks down to the water. Great groomed beach swimming area for families. Lots of put in spots if kayaking or paddle boarding. Great view of sandpoint area across the way. Definitely come again, sites are reserve only. Boat launch is free and with trailer parking. If over night parking for boat trailer etc, must have pass from camp host or park ranger, when camping. Most camp sites only fit 1 vehicle, some 2. Overall well worth the stay.
NOT for trailers/RVs larger than a van. The sites are VERY SMALL, VERY CLOSE TOGETHER, and the roads and spaces narrow, unlit, and closely lined with trees. You will have a heck of a time trying to squeeze into a site without hitting something. There is NO WATER FOR RVs. There are spigots but conspicuously lack a threaded connection for a hose. There is no power or dump station. Signage and directions in the site are poor and the parking areas are very un-level. There is a surprising amount of road noise. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful, but this is definitely one of the worst "developed" non primitive/boondock campgrounds we've stayed at in all our travels. Many of the campers here have zero funks about walking directly through your campsite going to and from the lake.
