Used to spend a lot of time here when I was a younger teenager this is a great beach park. They don’t have the paddle boats anymore and the water is definitely cold. Lol but great place to go for a swim with a beach in northern Idaho beautiful mountain Vistas in the background. You can do a boat ride if you want whether it’s going around the lake during the day or for Sunset go check out the castle!

Love the city beach at Sandpoint! 5/5 stars. Visit multiple times each year. Amazing facilities for pickleball and basketball. Public restroom. Beautiful beach with a concrete barrier thing to jump off. Ice cream shop that is reasonably priced. I've seen bald eagles in the trees, and pirate ships sailing by. Short walk from town. Get there early on Saturdays, parking fills up before noon.

Amazing & beautiful scenery. Left the car unlocked & everything was safe! Pleasant for older adults, adults & kids. Very nice walking trail & got to capture this beautiful sunset.

Beach was nice.nnwhile there is a huge parking lot, it gets very busy quick. We got there around 2pm and circled the parking lot for about 20 minutes until we found a parking spot.

A Sandpoint community treasure with vast sandy beaches, a pier, playground, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts and horseshoe pits. Expansive park with picnic and BBQ areas and nice public restrooms.
