Round Lake State Park

Rond lake is a great place to go for an afternoon of fun. There are trails around the whole lake which are a ton of fun to mountain bike on. Also for Cross country we ran around the lake on those trails. That was one of my favorite aces to run at because there was so much shade and the cool breeze that came off the water was amazing! And then afterwards we did some swimming to cool off great day!

One of my favorite local family getaways. Always clean. The trails around the lake are an easy hike and the scenery and plant life are beautiful.

This is the place where me and my wife to be had our first fishing trip together. We come here every Spring to fish. There are trout, catfish, perch and even turtles. It is a great place for just runni g around in a kayak also.

We did the entire hike around the lake and saw wild life ! Two toddlers were able to do the hike. It has some tripping hazards on the trails from exposed roots and rocks but it was better more of an adventure experience. The lake was prestige and the re was relatively few people here. It’s a little gem of north Idaho. I’ve been here for ice fishing in the winter and caught my limit in two hours and did amazing and had same feelings of comfort and peace here in the summer too hiking around with my family. It’s a state park so there is a fee or use your state parks pass sticker.
