Great friendly atmosphere with fantastic food. Fresh ground coffee and a nice menu selection.

Came in with a hungry crew when another area diner said they were closed. It was 20 mins til closing on a Saturday afternoon and we could see the slight dismay on their faces since it was so close to closing. The waitress, Sue, offered to have our meals "to go" so we agreed and sat at the bar. We had some light conversation about the upcoming holiday, their typical hours. Etc. When it was time to be served, the owner served us on diner ware and made sure we felt appreciated. The orders? Grilled cheese, the #11 and the Shortstack of pancakes with two eggs over medium. What an accommodating crew at the South Pearl Coffee shop.

My father Henry Lawson and I favorite place to get coffee then go to work at fathers produce right across the street😄! RIP dad 💒
