Courthouse Cafe

It’s been under various owners last few years but the most recent is brilliant. They mainly sell sweet savoury food croissant, muffin, cakes , biscuits and sandwiches - but the quality is really high. Coffee is delicious and there is plenty for the kids to do outside - including a sandpit and kids camping tent!

What a fantastic hidden gem. We had my sons 3rd Birthday party here on Saturday and Jen did everything she could to make it run smoothly. It was the perfect space, set up so beautifully and the food and presentation were fantastic. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food and coffee was too! Added extra was the sandpit and ride on toys!

We are regulars at the cafe as my toddler absolutely loves it. This made it an easy decision to host my toddler's birthday party there. The owner was very attentive and accommodating throughout the planning process with regards to the food selction and bouncy castle hire, as well as on the day itself. Everyone enjoyed the party thoroughly, and I was very pleased with the setup and food for both adults and children. I highly recommend The Old Courthouse Cafe. We'll definitely be coming back.

Great place to gather, meet friends or bring children. Staff are friendly and highly accommodating. It's open all year long which is a bonus for last minutes play dates. Try the courtyard special sandwich... you can thank me later!Food: 5/5

Beautiful cafe in stunning surroundings. So much for the kids to do outside, the staff are so kind and the sandwiches / coffees / cakes were fantastic. Such a lovely cafe that we spent a very relaxing even with the kids, whole afternoon in the sun. We will be coming back lots. Very much recommend to anybody in the area.

This is one my favourite local spots and it got even better with the new management. Jen is doing such a great job, making the place even lovelier with expanded menu and nicer facilities. I recently organised my son’s 4th birthday here. Through all stages of planning the party, she was super calm, organized and flexible. During the party, she was really helpful and made the party a great success. I am so grateful we have this local gem in High Barnet, well done Jen!

Gotta love this cafe. Excellent for families with lots of toys. Polite service, coffee is OK and the toasties are actually excellent.

Lovely cosy cafe with lots of playing areas for kids, cafe has a new owner now and the lady has done it so nice, supporting local business. I felt very welcome. The coffee was amazing, we also tried an almond croissant, banana loaf and cute little raspberry bake, all were delicious and fresh. You can borrow kids cars, toys for free, that is so nice. There is a sandpit for playing, definitely a paradise if you have a kid.

Lovely, friendly cafe, with great kids facilities. Proper coffee and scrumptious cakes. Best of all there's lots of toys incl. a sandpit for kids to play with. Highly recommend! It's a gem!
