Very nice place for summer and winter activities. Pathway goes completely around the reservoir. XCountry skiing, walking, and running, non motorized boating. Just enjoy the outdoors, Dogs need to be on a leash 2 meters or shorter and please pick up after yourselves.

For a city-person, this was literally a breathe of fresh air! You are allowed to take non-motorized craft out on the reservoir water and there is a trail for walking/biking/jogging around the entire reservoir. Gorgeous views from every angle, calm and quiet, and now I want to move there! Dog-friendly too.

Great for an afternoon stroll, a weekend walk, biking, rollerblading in summer and in a few areas even a bit of snowshoeing during winter. The main pathways are well maintained. There is free parking in several areas where you get access to the park from different parts of the city.

Great splash park and play ground. Need to be careful of your child's feet getting too hot on the playground surface though.

South Glenmore park offers a great facility for hiking, biking and cross country skiing (in the winter obviously). It is a popular park on the edge of the reservoir and used by all ages.
