Solid 4. Nice environment and atmosphere, decent service. Brisket: unfortunately dry, serve yourself sauce will offset this. Pork belly; not bad, different, tasty. Broccoli salad: enjoyable and recommended bacon makes everything better. Two portions of meat + salad is enough to fill a person. Happy hour window offers half price on most of their whiskeys on a massive drink menu.
The best sandwich ever. It seems a burger. The meat is excellent. The potato salad as a side dish I had was amazing too. The beer tastes so natural and it is really delicious. The waitress was very nice. I definitely will come back.Food: 5/5
The inside of the restaurant looks really good. It's very cosy with a fireplace and outdoor space. The food is delicious. We had the brisket, ribs, pasta salad and the best one out of them all was the bacon wrapped stuffed peppers. Their lager is my favorite lager I've ever had and their BBQ sauces were good . I like the BBQ sauce at Hayden block better.
Really love the vibe! We ordered the apricot pork belly, burnt ends, collards and beans and broccoli salad. Super loved everything but my favourite has to be the collards! The pork belly is on the sweet side but the burnt ends was divine! I’ll be back for more!
Beer was amazing and their New England IPA was one of the best I've had in Calgary. The brisket was a bit dry but I would still recommend it to others who live in the area. I would definitely go back here for craft beers in the future.
4-4.5 A wonderful atmosphere. The drinks options supercedes the food menu here. Even with the smaller food menu, it is a good amount of options that hit the spot. Sandwiches go for $14, desserts for $8, $6 sides and a variety of tray actual tray size apps + other meats by the lb. Highly recommend the brisket sandwich. The house slaw reminds me of the kale salad you find in supermarkets. Flavours overall of food eaten hits the mark. It does get very busy here and a slight wait for food.
The staff are amazing. The food is great and the entire team treats you well. We go once to twice a week and have for months because we live so close. Never has there been a problem, never have we met a staff member that wasn't wonderful. Their drinks are really good too. You won't be disappointed! Oh and if you go for brunch get the waffles trust us! Kid-friendliness: They always welcome our grandchildren and our grandogs when the weather is nice
A fun and energetic bbq spot with clean ingredients and flavours. Large menu offering very filling food options with a plentiful choice of beers and cocktails to wash it all down. Friendly and engaging staff also. Chris was an amazing server, this place is like the Comery Block. Impeccable service from everyone. They come at the right time, they say the right things. Bar tender was great. Waitresses amazing. Music was amazing, the vibe is just so perfect. Comfortable, welcoming, homey. I'm very happy I came here tonight. Thanks Chris!!!
A great spacious clean place with great service and amazing BBQ smoked menu! Come down and visit if you like quality! It's all that and a dish of delicious fries with bacon... Lol!
