Social Beer Haus

Ate here with a group. We had the meat platter. It was good, there was a lot of food. It was supposed to feed 4, but there were 5 of us and we took half of it home. If you like beer this place has an awesome selection. If you drink wine, you're out of luck. Service was good, atmosphere was good. Definitely worth checking out.

The Social Beer Haus is a must visit in my book. The food is delicious, they have a great selection of local craft beer and domestic, the atmosphere is very positive and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. The most important part of any night out for myself and my husband is the staff and we were not let Down by any means. Amanda, Annie and Amber were so high energy and fun but very attentive and professional at the same time. They really make the experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Colin who is a great down to earth person. He took the time to check in with us a few times and asked about our visit. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we have been back several times. Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere was the best for drinking. Our server Achok has helped a lot contributing to our wonderful experience with by how lovely she was. It was also nice that she was willing to ask for us if they could make us special drinks. Also, we were there to drink but also had the pulled pork tacos to snack on and they were a whole lot better than what we could have expected, especially after just eating at a smokehouse the day before. The tacos are definitely recommended 10/10

I came with my friends on a busy Friday evening, thankfully we were able to find a nice seat on a clean patio booth. All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly, They brought our drinks to our tables in a timely manner. And Food, specially wings and mushroom Swiss burger is worth every penny. I liked their daily specials menu, Would come back for those bud buckets on Wednesday.

We came here for a late lunch during happy hour! The atmosphere was great, food was delicious and our server was very friendly! The happy hour prices & the day specials were worth it!

I came in tonight for a simple pint but Depeche made me this cool X Ray shot! Looked and tasted great, will defiantly come back again! The atmosphere was really good, Depeche and all the other staff were very friendly and genuinely putting the effort in. 10/10 would recommend!

Worse service I’ve received in Calgary took 30 minutes to talk a server. It bar isn’t overly busy this is normal rush. And took another 45 mins to bring us our drinks. 10/10 would not recommend. How are they still in business!!! : Bartender was also super mean and unprofessional when I Nicely asked how much longer still the drink would come as it had been 30 minutes already.

Stopped here by accident, ordered one of the meat platters, and OMFG did it ever satisfy ever tastebud. KAT was our server, she made the recommendation. Service and food were amazing. 5 STARS plus and extra 3. Get the Brass Monkey it’s smashing.

I was at this bar with a large group for a birthday and St. Patty’s day last night and our experience was very poor. We had reserved our table ahead of time and were told that there would be an 18% auto gratuity for a party of our size, which is standard and no issue. However, we were not told that we HAD to put everything on one bill until we were there. We communicated to the manager on duty that we were never told this and did not want to put everything on one bill who then told us "fine you can go to the bar and won't have a server then". This obviously overloaded the bar staff who were already busy and could barely tend to us. Our entire group was lined up at the bar waiting for drinks and was completely ignored. The place seemed severely understaffed in general for St. Patty's Day but the service was insanely slow - especially considering how many empty tables there were. We felt ignored by the manager who didn't even attempt to accommodate us which is unfortunate because we were there for a celebration and wanted to spend money and have a good time. The women's washrooms were also completely out of toilet paper and soap. I notified a staff member of this at the beginning of the night and it remained that way for the entire evening. As someone who worked in the service industry for 6 years, I am not one to make negative reviews or complain but we were all genuinely shocked at how bad this experience was. Other patrons in the bar that we spoke to felt the same way. I would definitely not come back here

We liked a lot babe bites and chips with ranch. Unfortunately my sausage was overcooked and burnt, the brisket had too much fat; the service was subpar slow and not attentive. My colleagues were not impressed with burgers on special for $10 and described them as flavorless. P.s.: I have a strong feeling that the most of the 5-stars reviews here are fake.
