Sound Care Medical & Imaging Centre is a licensed Diagnostic Imaging Facility and a Specialist office for Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Story

Sound Care Medical and Imaging is a licensed Diagnostic Facility legislated by the Ministry of Health of Ontario since 1986. We offer diagnostic ultrasound services in Obstetrics-Gynecology including Abdominal, suface ultrasound,Vascular and Cardiac studies . In additon we are also a certified Centre for IPS ( Intergrated Prenatal Screening) and nuchal translucency measurements.

Our specially trained clerical, technical and medical personnel are members of respective governing bodies such as CARDUP and ARDMS. We are a well equipped Facility with the latest Ultrasound Imaging Systems and Computerized Image Acquiring Systems Network, enabling remote reading of your ULTRASOUND EXAMS and interpretations provided to Referrring physicians within 24 hours or same day if requested.

This is by far the best Ultrasound clinic in Ottawa! I have been to three other clinics and they don't come close to this location. Both my visits were amazing! With a clean, modern look and the more up to date technology to go with it. All of these great factors don't compare to the customer service however. The staff have been excellent. They go above and beyond even when it might not fall under their job description. One staff in particular Maureen is just amazing; words can't describe how helpful and pleasant she is. She treats each patient as an individual and not a numbered patient...thank you! I would recommend this clinic to everyone!

I’m incredibly impressed by the efficiency of this office. I was able to get a same day appointment and the woman on the phone was very helpful and informative. When I arrived the front desk staff were very welcoming and quick with checking me in. The technician came to get me for my appointment right on time and she was so friendly, thorough and efficient. We thoroughly discussed why I was there, completed both requested tests and I was done my appointment in under thirty minutes. I’m really pleased with the entire visit.

The People who work at sound care are amazing people. They have so much patience and will go out of their way to help you if they can. My Dr Sent all my Requisition forms over except the one they needed today. My appointment was for 8 am and I called my Dr right away to have them fax it.They said it would be there in 10 minutes after 2 more attempts to get my form the sonographer did my Ultrasound while we waiting for the Requisition to come in. After waiting 2 hours for the fax my Dr swore was coming never showed Up Kim got on the phone and was able to get everything we needed and I was on my way. Today was a very special appointment for me and I was so glad that they were able to squeeze me in after my appointment was already missed. I am happy to announce I am now in my second trimester and the baby is doing great. Thank you so much Kim for everything you did!

The staff here is amazing! We have had a stressful few days as the doctor suspected a problem and needed an ultrasound to know for sure. When we arrived this morning there was a problem with the requisition. Thank you so much Kim for going above and beyond to make sure we got the scan done!

I'm shocked at how unprofessional they were at doing my ultrasound. The sonographers doing my ultrasound were speaking in French to each other, commenting about my body and then laughing. Little did they know that I understand French. I'm shocked that there are people who work in health care and make comments like this, especially in front of their patient.
