Dr. Gihad Shabib

he is such an unprofessional dr, he is a terrible Dr . Parents who wants to do circumcision stay away from him. he did a very bad cut on our son. he was bleeding too much we went to CHEO. he is very careless .shame on you old man. go and stay home and enjoy your retirement instead of hearting new born

So 6 years ago, my sister was diagnosed with endometriosis by Dr.Shabib. He prescribed her medication that will be inject into her stomach that will shrink the endometriosis for 7 doses all of that costed 7000$. After, many months of finished the doses, he always said you still have it. Then he tells me to get more doses. I said that’s too much and he said come back 5 months later and book an appointment. They never did an appointment I called back many times and nobody answered the phone, so than I changed to another doctor. I told him about my situation, he took many tests . He said that you are all clean it seems that you never had a endometriosis. He said who diagnosed it? I said Dr.Shabib. He is the WORST DOCTOR EVER. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. he needs his license to be taken from him , because his medical malpractice is horrible. He was also sooo disrespectful.

Can’t explain how bad and careless his work is. He made a careless mistake and just left a few days old infant suffering from an infection because of extremely bad circumcision job. His staff would not book an appointment for follow-up for a month. I wouldn’t want anyone to have my experience and I don’t recommend even trying to deal with this unprofessional person.

This is my first review ever. I don’t ever post reviews but i felt like people need to know that if I could give Dr. Shabib zero star I would. He did my son’s circumcision. He is the worst. Did a sloppy job. Did the surgery in a hurry and walk out of the room without answering any questions or even giving any information about the after care. When we asked to speak to him the nurse said she will explain everything. It was still bleeding when I got home and was swollen so much. When I called to ask if that’s normal the receptionist was super rude. I called again the next day because it was still swollen and spoke to the nurse you have to call them over 20 times each time to get someone to answer. The nurse kept saying it’s fine and not too worry and that infections are rare but that I can use polysporin. I asked for an appointment anyway she gave me an appointment 3 days later. I saw the dr again he literally walked in for 30 secs saw it was infected and wrote a prescription for antibiotics and left the room. I had to wait by the door so I can stop him in the hallway to ask him a few questions. Used the antibiotics for a week and it was still getting swollen and One side turned out with so much extra skin it reattached incorrectly. Called over 30 times on 2 different days no answer so I walked in to the clinic. Receptionist was soooo rude Saying they aren’t a walk in clinic and that I had 2 call for an appointment. I told her I did call and got no answer. her response was we are busy we have 10 specialist in the clinic... my response was well if you guys r busy and can’t answer phone calls stop taking more patients. She wouldn’t let me see the doctor until 4 hours later but I came back anyways they made me wait for 1 hour in the waiting room. When I saw the dr again he said ya there is extra skin but it’s fine. He said “it looks bad only if you look from the back but it looks good from the front. If it causes any problems as he gets older to come back” at that point I started getting upset as to how much they are disregarding any concerns I have. Like I’m supposed wait 10 years to see if it will turn out ok??? He has a tendency to walk out of the room without any notice. So before I can even ask anything he walked out again 2 write the prescription and didn’t return he gave the prescription 2 the nurse to give 2 me. I asked the nurse 2 speak with him he came back and I ask if I should make an appointment from now cuz it’s super hard to get an appointment. He said I could call it I needed an appointment. I explained to him how rude the receptionist were and that I had to drive into the office to get an appointment today and he really didn’t seem to care and said that they are really busy. I told him yes but this is an infection it’s urgent. His response was “ok we saw you” and walked out the room. He cares about making his money and honestly doesn’t care about his patients. I made an appointment with another doctor to see what can be done at this point. Do not trust him. He is the worst

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dr. Shabib is very quick to dismiss patient worries. Dr. Shabib is the cause of several medical malpractice incidents, yet he gets away with it due to professional liability insurance. If anything happens to you or your baby, he does not care. He just worries about saving his a** on paperwork even if it involves changing medical notes. Dismissive deceiver.

We are patients of Dr Gihad Shabeeb. He is great Dr, caring, knowledgeable, and expert, however, the clinic is one of the worst managed clinics and service providers I have seen. No appointment is on time. You always have to wait at least 30 minutes. Phone calls never get answered. Instead they have a voice recording, that instructs you how to present your self to clinic. The voice recording is around 3 minutes, and at the end there's no functionality to leave a message as they don't take messages. If you go there and talk to them about this, they may instruct you to send an email or use their contact form on the website. None is likely to be answered, not even 3 months.

I have known Dr Shabib for a long time.He took on my elderly mother as a favor years ago.I was one of his first 10 patients and he is THE BEST Ever! If you are lucky enough to get him, God has blessed you and never lose him.Wonderful DR and human being

I have been a patient of Dr. Aziz for many years. She moved to this clinic. I was told I had to get a referral from my doctor to see her at the new clinic which is fine. After the referral was sent, I waited two months and I didn't hear anything back. When I contacted the clinic to find out about scheduling, the receptionist named Shukria was rude and told me "you have to wait". Its too bad because I really liked seeing Dr. Aziz. She was the only doctor who made me feel comfortable. Now I am stuck trying to find a new gynecologist all because I don't want to deal with the receptionist at this new clinic.

The front desk is a mess. They have the worst customer service ever!!! They never pick up the phone and almost never answer their emails. I set my first appointment and informed them I’ll be out of town. They changed my appointment during my vacation and I missed it and they blamed me for it! I went in and set my second appointment when I was 32 weeks pregnant, and two weeks later, I called to confirm, and they said that I don’t have one! I had to wait two weeks for the next one when I was in my 36th weeks!!! I asked for a document to be admitted to the embassy, and informed them that it’s urgent and I need it before the end of the week it was Monday and they never gave it to me or even got it prepared and it cost me $40. Since my first appointment, I had my medical file with them to be scanned and returned to me, it’s been a month and a half and I haven’t got it even after sending emails and calling them without any response. They are always “busy” and unfriendly. I am positive that after this pregnancy, I will not visit them again.

I regret so much bringing my 2 week old to Shabib. He did the worst circumcision ever! He did so many stitches on it. My baby got an infection because he never mentioned anything about the aftercare I went to another Dr. and told me I'm supposed to put a gauze on the p with lots of vaseline so the p00p doesn't touch it and infect it, plus I'm spending extra money on medication and ointments. He doesn't give you any information beforehand neither after the procedure. He left the room without saying anything. It healed horrible! So I have to book an appointment with another Dr. So he can correct it.
