Even though I wrote to say I was coming and wanted to test drive a used vehicle, the vehicle was still outside and covered in ice when I arrived. The salesman brought it inside and we chopped the ice off but he was not very enthusiastic about showing us anything about the car nor did he offer a test drive. Honestly I might still buy the same type of vehicle I looked at, but I certainly won't but it from Solution Mazda.

Buying a car there was an ok experience in February, salesman was mostly rude until papers were signed. Sonia in financing had me approved right away. Warning though: they over-inflate the price of the extended warranty by a huge amount! I was convinced to take it in order to get a lower interest rate since my credit is not perfect and I'm self employed, I paid $2500 for it on a less than $5000 car. I had a total loss only 4 months later and was told by the extended warranty company (Garantie Nationale) that I was entitled to a refund since I didn't use it and I did less than 10,000kms on the car but I would have to reimbursed by the dealer. Mazda Chateauguay sent me a cheque for $540!!! That's it! Kept the other almost $2000 for themselves! When I called to find out why, I was treated extremely rudely by the accounting department who said I was lucky to receive anything at all and they didn't even have to refund me if they didn't want to. She also refused to communicate in English. The next day their automated phone system called me for an oil change. Like really?! lol. TERRIBLE customer service and the extended warranty is SUCH a rip off just designed to line their pockets with cash from people they know are struggling to get a car in the first place. I will never recommend them to anyone.

My CX-3 is fantastic, the sales team and the sales manager are outstanding. I'm proud to have bought a car from Mazda Chateauguay. The Service Team is great too.
