Solstice Wood Fire Pizza, Bar & Catering

Our server Kristin was awesome. We came in just as the busy time ended, so everything came out quickly. The Brussels sprouts are a must order. Also got the spring salad with the house made ranch so good. The La Campagna pizza is another must order. And the seasonal dessert, a plum and peach cobbler, was so good and a perfectly warm sweet treat for fall. All the food was great. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to like this place more. I heard great things about it from locals in the area. I ordered a carnivore pizza and a few sides of ranch. Don't order sides of ranch. They're too expensive for what you get. The pizza and ranch was over 33 dollars. The pizza was too small for the money, and the toppings were pretty scarce. The people were friendly and the quality was decent though. It tasted better than it looked, but you can get a lot more pizza that's just as good for less money elsewhere.

Outstanding wood fired pizza. is located just off the banks of the Columbia River and has a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.nnThe pizza is thin crust and cooked just right. All pizza is 11 inches. They have a long list of toppings to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive.nnWe ordered the custom pizza for $14 and added 4 toppings at $4 each. $28 is high for an 11 inch pizza, but they use premium toppings and they don’t skimp.nnPlease note that a 15% tip is automatically added to all to-go-orders.nnOverall, a Hood River must try!nnUpdate: I received a nice reply from the owners, which is always a good thing. We travel to Hood River 3 or 4 times a year from Seattle to fish the Columbia River and a few days ago was the first time we tried Solstice Wood Fire Pizza - Cafe & Bar. Walked in and the placed smelled delicious!!! There were many areas to choose where to sit. Outside had a few different choices and then inside.nnVery clean and friendly customer service. Polite and very thorough, always making sure drinks and food is okay.nnPrice wise is like everything in the world now, but to be honest well worth what you’re getting. Its not as easy to describe the pizza we had because once it hits the tongue it just melts in your mouth. Two pizzas are perfect for four people. They also don’t sit in your stomach like most fast food ones do. These digest so well, leaving you with space for deserts!!!!nnThe smore is perfect for two. And the best part is that its not too sweet or not too plain, just right.nnThe only way you can understand is by going and trying out what your heart desires. Keep up the great service.

Lots of fun! All 4 of us had unique pizzas. Cherry pizza was really good - next I’ll get this one - but all were good. Had a good stout too - wish more people offered this kind of beer.
