We were here for about two hours before sunset, but we already want to go back! We came on a Saturday evening at the end of September (be prepared for a little wind and dress in layers), and parking was pretty full, but we did find a spot. Easy to pay the $5 for the required parking pass, and there are plenty of spots with amazing vista views and overlooks right off of the various parking areas if you don't want to do a lot of hiking (attached photo taken about a minute from where we parked). We walked down into the valley, which was a pretty steep walk, but it would've been easier had we come prepared with the correct footwear. Really cool to see all of the climbers on the cliff faces. This is definitely a place you could spend the day at to hike all of the various trails.

Do you like rocks? Well, whether you like looking at rocks or touching rocks you'll probably love it here. Unless you can't get parking, in which case I hope you like driving in circles near rocks, or parking far away and walking on roads of people circling hoping to look at rocks.

Absolutely gorgeous monster of a rock. I was blown away by the jagged landscape against the clear blue skies. There’s a beautiful loop hike around the whole rock that is highly recommend. It was challenging but lots of fun. If you’re at all near Bend, definitely check it out! Also there’s lots of rock climbing here if you’re into that kind of thing.

Great place to walk, run, or just marvel at it's beauty. Picnic tables all over. Superior trails. Really kept up. $5 for single day parking. Year pass for $30. Definitely worth going.

Stunning views. Early morning is best for photos and to beat the crowds. Hiking paths are all over. Steep descent/ascent might be difficult for some but well worth the effort to get to the river and climbing areas.
