I recommend you find somewhere else to stay unless this is your only option.
The campsite is next to the road and the sites are really close so it's hard to get a quite nights rest. The entire campsite is dirt and gravel so be prepared to be dirty your entire stay. Also be prepared to be told you can't use the bathroom in the morning because the lady is "cleaning" and the showers cost 4 quarters for 2 minutes. If they maybe charged a little more and had free showers I would have been much happier with my stay and I would have gladly stayed here again. Most people don't like staying in the dirt and not being able to take a free shower. Overall Sisters is a great place to visit, I do recommend the town.

We used to really brag about this campground, but that ended this last week when my husband and I came to camp for a week. The campground is still beautiful and the bathrooms are larger , they have one more stall than they used too......but they are extremely cold and the hand blower blows cold air, I'm not sure what the rest of you think but I really liked the warm bathrooms they had. The showers are a joke 2min of shower for a dollar, 30sec of that 2 min is wasted just waiting for the water to get warm. The hours that you can take a shower is 8am to 3pm ? Really !It cost my husband and I $6.00 just to take a scramble of a shower, on top of the $20.00 spent on our site.Truly disappointed. Needless to say there won't be anymore bragging!🙁

Nice grounds, nice bathrooms, pay showers, but...
1. There are streetlights in the campground, make sure you don't get a spot under one. We did and it was bright as day, all night long.
2. The highway is very close by and there is a slow down before you hit town, so long haul truckers were jake breaking all night long.
3. The campsites are small and packed in very closely. We could hear conversation from the neighbors three sites over--even though they weren't being loud.
Great spot for trailers. If you're in a tent and want to sleep, try to reserve a spot under the trees near the creek.

they put huge boulders in awkward places that make it even harder to get into the RV spots which are mostly short and at odd angles not to mention VERY close together. No wifi. They have raised to 40 bucks a night and doubled the dump fee. We had reserved a spot but was taken by another camper and since there was no host, city told us to make them move. So we ended up having to take another less appropriate spot. Just seems like they are just checked out on the campground now. Used to be a fav but plan to move on next time.

Really like this campground. Its just a few blocks from downtown. Lots of access to hiking, biking, walking trails, food, beverages and local amusements. Can get a little noisy when full. And they charge for their dump station even for paying campers. Not good.
