A stop to remember. The cliff may make you a bit woozy... but it is something to behold. 300 feet down. Do NOT take your pet... I have seen them fall... keep an eye out on your kids!

This is pretty awesome. It's like a miniature Grand canyon. The first time I drove past and saw how deep 300 + ft it was I had to turn around and go back and visit. It's very large for a rest stop and the parking lot gets pretty full at night with truckers but I've never seen it so full a car couldn't park. It does have a basic bathroom that's well maintained but it's beginning to show signs of age. Now the view. INCREDIBLE! It's hundreds of feet the bottom and it's almost straight down. There's a solid four foot wall along the edge and in two places you are actually hanging over the edge, not for the faint of heart. The only downside is the train tracks right at the end of it. I was parked there one evening and when the train came the rush of noise was sudden and very powerful, but I was not in the parking area and I was a close as you could get in your car. Please don't ignore the signs. This can be a dangerous place for pets. Besides the view and bathroom there are a few picnic tables and a lot of space. Nothing else. Drinking fountain hasn't worked for over a year and I'm not sure about the phone. I still like stopping because it's calm and peaceful. It's also fun to see the bungee jumping.

Stayed here to watch the eclipse. This rest stop deinitely is one of the most beautiful ones I've stayed at. There is a 300 ft amazing gorge, you can walk on the bridge. Also there is bungee jumping if you're that type of thrill seeker.

Definitely a good spot to stop on your way to Smith rock or Bend! Walk over to the lookout point, you won't be disappointed!

Oh my gosh , the most beautiful scenery! Not too per friendly as the cliffs are dangerous for dogs. Never very crowded.
