We stayed here one night and were very happy with the room. Very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Easy freeway access also. The breakfast was decent too. We would definitely stay here again.

I have been stay at Sleep Inn for three weeks now due to work out of town. This place is excellent! Lobby, room smell clean and are clean. The owners keep the place well maintained. I had one problem checking into a room last week, the tub drained very slow. Without hesitation Jennifer at the front desk switched me to another room. The staff is professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to other.

Love Sleep Inn, whether in Sheboygon or other towns. The beds, bedding & pillows assure a great night’s sleep. The heating / cooling is just right. The breakfasts work for me as a diabetic. Love it!

My boyfriend and I stayed in a room with a king bed. It included a large desk, a microwave and a respectably-sized mini fridge. The bed was reasonably firm without being a brick, and we both slept fairly well on it. We ate breakfast around 8am (the dining room is open from 6am to 9am) and were generally disappointed. The advertised "hot breakfast" consisted of slightly stale biscuits with lukewarm sausage gravy, room temperature sausage links, and scrambled eggs that appeared to have been frozen and reheated (neither of us tried them). While there was a waffle station, it was across the room from the rest of the breakfast bar, so we didn't even see it until we were leaving. The cold food was more palatable, including as it did the usual offerings of cereal, yogurt, and various pastries.

The hotel appeared to be clean when arriving and the room was visually clean, but had a heavy smell of mold and was extremely humid in the room. The water smelled like sulfur so after showering, washing your hands, or anything else you smelled worse than before. Two of the people who were staying in the room ended up getting sick a couple days after (likely from sleeping in a moldy room for two nights).
There were also suspicious white stains underneath the desk on the back panel where it looked like someone had some happy alone time that was never cleaned up.
The stairway by our room smelled strongly of urine (whether from a pet that was staying in the hotel or a human who thought that was the best place to relive themselves, we will never know) for the entire weekend.
The front desk hotel staff didn't really seem like they wanted anything to do with you and weren't in the best mood. The black British guy who was working in the breakfast area was amazing though! He was super friendly, kept everything clean, and was in a great mood. Keep him around and get rid of all the other crabby people.
We will never be staying at this hotel again and will be telling everyone we know who is going to the area not to stay in this hotel. This was also our first Choice Hotels experience and makes me question booking another Choice Hotel in the future.
