Fountain Park Motel

So disappointed in this hotel. We requested a room that we could have our dog in, and notified the hotel of this request as well when we checked in. When we left, we were charged extra for the dog without notice. I called to speak to the manager and was constantly told "He's not available" and instead of calling me like I requested four times, he emailed me and was EXTREMELY rude about the entire situation. When I talked to the person at the counter, they made it out to be my fault that I never informed them, which I did multiple times. I then told him to check my booking request to see the note that was left regarding the dogs, and he then said "Oh, the person who checked you in must have forgotten to pass the note along." So I clearly did tell them! They also said that I never answered my phone when they called to report my dog who was barking non-stop, but I didn't have a single missed call while we were gone. We obviously would have come back to get him had they actually called us, but the thing is he rarely ever barks, even at home or when we go anywhere! The manager never called me despite the three rude emails he sent to me and told me that I should have been kicked out immediately and charged $250 for breaking the rules. But the rules were never broken! I will NEVER stay there again and DO NOT recommend this hotel unless you want to be treated disrespectfully and lied to!

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this motel fit the bill. No frills, cheap motel. Staff was nice and room was only for sleeping. Outdated quite a bit but we weren't there for the amenities. Overall satisfactory stay.

This place is acceptable for a place to sleep, but I can't recommend it. If you have a choice to spend more for a different hotel, do it.

I have not spent a night in the motel area...too many relatives to be necessary, when I visit. However, it is My Favorite Restaurant in Sheboygan. Everything ordered, I can eat. It is truly a Family Restaurant. Spices are added as the food is made. I cannot have salt, for health reasons. Whatever I order being made fresh, I get to order. If you believe coffee service is important, than you have come to the right place! Waitresses and the Owners come by often with fresh pots of regular and decafinated coffee to keep your cups hot, and full. As for atmosphere, it could not get better with friendly smiles and great service. This is the ONE RESTAURANT I look forward to going to, whenever I am visiting, Sheboygan, WI, my hometown.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, basic amenities. Perfect for the frugal traveler who just needs a simple nights rest without the extra frills of other places. Would visit again.
