SL Pastry Meat and Deli

I got bacon bites and the flavour is amazing!!!! The owners or staff are super friendly and everything looked really fresh as well they have different types of cuts for pork and other meats this is definitely a local business that will be great to support in this difficult times... highly recommended!!!! Maybe they had warm food before like the pictures on the doors but I can understand why they don’t any more due to current restrictions, never the less highly recommended!!!

If you dont speak the language and are not a regular they cant be bothered to meet the bare minimum of customer service standards ..ask questions and they just seem bothered or look at you like your stupid..and major disappointment in no ready hot food and again I'd wait for the food but not feeling comfortable asking any more questions it's easier to just leave..been there a couple times for the dry sausage it's good but the service detures me

Not sure what the other reviews were talking about. Went for lunch today, place was empty, poorly decorated, and they had nothing available for lunch... at 12noon. I looked at a white cardboard poster stuck to the wall that showed only four items that they allegedly serve for lunch and when I asked what one of the items was made of, I was told to 'google it' and find out myself, I didn't bother. I took a chance, and asked if I could order kebabs with potato salad, one of the "only four options available" and was matter-of-factly told they had no potato salad and no other sides to substitute, but offered a bread-bun instead which I declined. After ordering, they also told me it would take 30min for kebabs to be cooked. Being hungry, I reluctantly agreed and left to go get gas for my car, and came back to pickup. Surprise: kebabs were removed from skewer and cooked in a frying pan with black pepper and put into a styrofoam container with half of a RAW red onion ???. Did they accidentally forget it there??? I had also bought, and was given three handfuls literally of 'bacon bits' $9 otherwise known in Latin culture as Chicharrón thick-cut pieces of fried pork belly / fried pork rinds, but instead of being dry and crisp, they were damp, and soggy... and I threw them into garbage even before I got home. All things considered, this place was very disappointing. C'mon folks, PLEASE take your business more seriously, first impressions really matter, especially in Streetsville. You could have something amazing there, but you have to put your whole heart and all your efforts into the business for it to be successful, and remembered.

They had no interest in serving me an order at all. Would not even answer when I said 'hello, how are you?'. They don't serve hot meals any more, and they wouldn't even offer an alternative to the request. Not pleasant on the phone either. Also closing earlier than advertised. Not going back.

High quality food. Everything is so clean. The staff is quick to serve the customer and they are providing very friendly service. If you are looking for a "burek", they are making the best in GTA. Highly recommending. Never been disappointed.

No hot food available despite pictures on front window.. dont seem interested in serving ready made food..could be good..
